Nachdem wir schon einige Male Essen bestellt und damit zufrieden waren, haben wir uns für einen Vorort-Besuch entschieden. Zwei Familien mit einem Kleinkind. Obwohl das Restaurant an einem Sonntag nur zur Hälfte gefüllt war, mussten wir knapp 20 Minuten warten, bis wir bestellen konnten. Die Getränke kamen nach ca. 30 Minuten, auf die Salate und Vorspeisen mussten wir 75 Minuten warten, die Hauptspeisen kamen dann nach knapp 1h und 45 Minuten. Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Portionsgrößen auch. Leider darf man heutzutage nicht mal mehr eine Entschuldigung oder kurze Erklärung für die lange Wartezeit erwarten. Wir werden wohl künftig anderen Restaurants in der Region den Vorzug geben.

The Kaiser restaurant is famous for its excellent regional and international cuisine as well as its large selection of fine wines. Depending on the season, the chefs serve up fish, asparagus, grilled and game specialities, using local produce. The staff can offer individual advice as well as cater for large or small groups, for whatever the occasion, be it a party, wedding or company event. The spacious sun terrace overlooking the old moated castle is an ideal place to enjoy coffee or cake, or quench your thirst after an enjoyable cycling tour. The sun terrace is next to the conference room, meaning that delegates can grab some fresh air during their breaks from the business at hand. In case this fresh air gives you a good appetite, you are of course free to enjoy all our delicious meals on the terrace.
