A friend booked a night at this hotel for us, kind of in the middle of our locations. I really didn’t know what to expect as it’s certainly different. I loved our stay. The owners couldn’t be more welcoming. The building is very social and you eat breakfast together around one big table. It’s clean and comfy. Definitely quirky and a great location for visiting Glastonbury.

We stayed in the Gold room which I booked a year in advance as it’s very popular. We loved the whole experience of staying in a former witches house, filled with rare artefacts. Tony & his team were outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable and provide the most relaxed atmosphere. The breakfasts are restaurant quality and are served until 10am on a weekend. There is so much to see and do in Glastonbury, we will be back soon! 😍

What an amazing place. Beautifully clean and lots of thought put into each room. The decor is out of this world. Tony the owner and his team are brilliant as are the amazing breakfasts that they serve. Nothing is too much trouble. We can't recommend The Covenstead enough. Wonderful stay at this lovely B&B in the centre of Glastonbury in one of their beautiful themed rooms. Freya and Tony were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. They made us and our spaniel so welcome.

I really loved this quirky guest house. They were welcoming, friendly, and so helpful. The property is in a great location for walking around Glastonbury. I wish I had booked a longer stay.

Yet another fabulous stay in my home from home. Tony, the owner is always on hand to make you feel welcome and the other staff are just as caring. I just love the place, great rooms, great breakfast and great staff. Love it!!!

I was absolutely blown away by the stunning Halloween Room !! Gothic/pagan decor and ambience. Tony made us feel very welcome and my dog .I love this place it really Is magical. Thankyou for youre wonderful hospitality.

Terrific location, fascinating history and eclectic decoration - broadsword on the wall perhaps a raven on a skull. A great and enthusiastic host, with a terrific breakfast. Its a unique place - definitely not a travel lodge - but a very reasonable price for an interesting and enjoyable stay
