One night stay for a birthday trip to Glastonbury and Wells. Stayed in the Halloween room....an amazing experience! The entire guest house is a feast for the senses, there's so much to take in. Lovely warm and friendly staff who couldn't have made us any more welcome. A superb breakfast in the most stunning dining room complete with gothic seating, candles, coffee and a vampire slaying kit. The most memorable b&B stay we've ever had. We're already planning a return visit!

THE COVENSTEAD Glastonbury Tony, the charismatic Owner of The Covenstead already has a devoted following and stellar Reviews that testify to the magical escape he offers Guests who enter that enchanted wonderland that is The Covenstead. There is simply nowhere like it on Earth and I count myself lucky to have spent time there. In this age of commonplace, corporate hotels, The Covenstead is absolutely unique. It is a treasure-trove of all things Pagan, Peculiar, Witchery and Wonderful on a prodigious scale. Every inch of space is crammed with Fascination. Every room - bedchambers, parlour and dining-salon - is captivating. In sheer contrast to the otherworldly, spellbinding ambiance of The Covenstead, Tony and his Staff are down to earth, warm and welcoming and full of vitality. One of the Pleasures of staying at The Covenstead is being part of The Covenstead Family. Tony and Staff have mastered the art of true hospitality; being friendly and engaging, yet remaining professional and courteous and attending smoothly to all the tasks that ensure a Guest has a wonderful and memorable stay. The breakfasts at Tony's are simply the best I have ever had. The delightful menu of juices, hot drinks, croissants and fruits followed by a perfectly cooked and stylishly presented scrumptious main course is enhanced by the pleasure of all Guests sitting round a long baronial dining-table so they can enjoying socialising. The Covenstead is the sort of place that draws together kindred spirits from across the globe and international travellers are frequent Guests here. It is true that Glastonbury is a place of pilgrimage with Old World and New Age attractions, but it is most often observed by Tony's Guests, that visiting Glastonbury and not staying at The Covenstead would be a somewhat hollow experience. It was a pleasure on this trip, to see Tony, Donna and Beth again and also to meet Emma, the newest recruit who was a joyful, perfect fit with the divinely decadent ethos of The Covenstead.

Many thanks to all the staff at the covenstead. Our trip was only for a few days, however we had such a fabulous time staying here. We had a chance to stay in 2 different rooms which were both magical and so clean. The beds were very comfortable, and a blessing that the heating was on. This experience of a get away was one of our best. So much to look at within the building. The breakfast was superb and kept us full for the day. We carnt wait to book another stay here again. Thank you all so much for making our stay so special gail, david & owen x

I had asked my partner to take me to Glastonbury for my birthday weekend and he chose the best B&B ever! The covenstead is pure Glastonbury! The staff were amazing, the rooms were fabulous & all the witchy woo decor was perfect. The bedroom was quirky & spacious with a decent sized bathroom, there was a kitchen and lounge we could use as well as a ceremony room. Lighting candles, using incense, playing with the tarot/oracle cards & reading from their library of books was all encouraged. The breakfast was really good, there were several options & they were able to cater easily for us needing to be gluten free. We had the full English breakfast which was great & set us up for the day nicely. Such a great experience, thank you to everyone at the Covenstead, we had the most excellent stay in your fabulous B&B.

What a truly amazing place. The welcome from Tony was fantastic, as he explains the history of the rooms he describes himself as the Caretaker. Although he is the owner he readily pays homage to Adele, the previous owner whose presence you feel everywhere in the eclectic collection of ornaments and artwork. Our room was just incredible with the four poster bed being the highlight. But all the furnishings ensure “a good time” ;)) The staff are all fabulous but Freya deserves special mention; the breakfasts are excellent My partner had stayed previously but being together she confirmed this was her best stay ever in all aspects. Two nights to cherish in our memories
