From the gorgeous view to the awesome grounds, the ecolodge has it all. I woke up to the laughing kookaburras and had a big smile on my face. For a nature lover like myself, this place is my utopia. The train carriage was also special in that the owner used to ride it to school! I loved our time here and felt surrounded by the beauty of Gods glory.

Keith was a friendly, attentive host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend the breakfast featuring many of the tropical fruits growing on the grounds! Wish we’d had more time to explore and in less oppressive heat. We’d already been but would recommend as a base for a night or two if visiting Australia Zoo up the road. A short drive to Glasshouse Mountains Village for provisions or dinner at the Glasshouse Tavern. The communal kitchen in a railway carriage looked great.

The Ecolodge was the perfect place to unwind from a busy year. Our bungalow was presented beautifully with everything we needed. The space was a luxury and we were grateful for the heat pumps on chilly winter evenings. Keith’s knowledge of the area and recommendations were spot-on and we were well set-up for the day with the generous breakfast buffet. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Keith, the creator and owner of the Ecolodge, gave us a warm welcome, a tour and made sure we were happy with our accomodation. The self-contained bungalow was wonderfully presented, we felt immediately at home and blessed to have it for our 2 day stay. Nestled amongst the Glasshouse Mountains the Ecolodge gives you a beautiful, relaxing and unique experience close to nature.

Pretty unique place - nicely appointed rooms with very cool shared kitchen very well appointed in an old tram. Quirky and clean, handy to all the mountain walks in the area. Close to the tavern down the road. Comfortable bed. Would stay again if we were in the area

Great location in the nature. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The old train cabin where we stayed was very special. Too bad the fireplace is only for looks, it would be awesome to snuggle in front of the fire now that nights got cooler. Surrounded by fruit trees and fresh air. Well maintained grounds. We will definitely be back.

The Ecolodge is the perfect place to 'get away' from the ties of the regular world! We were in the Victorian railway carriage, which was an absolute delight. Keith & his lovely hostess made us very welcome during our 2 night stay. We loved the breakfast & sharing this time with the other guests. The grounds are a delight to walk through & enjoy, especially seeing where the excellent coffee is grown (available to purchase too) & the various fruits, but the 'piece de resistance' were the numerous quirky pieces of art work scattered around the gardens. Delightful!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for what we needed. We only stayed one night as we were passing through on a road trip. It’s a perfect location for a longer stay to explore the Glass House Mountain area. The train carriage kitchen is perfect for preparing your own meals and there are heaps of things to do on the grounds including walks and the orchard area. There are books, games and heaps of comfy places to sit and be peaceful. It was so nice to read about the history of the eco lodge and Sally showed us around everything personally when we arrived. A cheeky possum (I hope it was a possum) was a little noisy in the roof during the night but it was otherwise a lovely stay with heaps of character and a serene and peaceful vibe. We visited Australia Zoo and the Glass House mountains lookout and Lookout Cafe while in the area.
