Macdonald Crutherland House

The hotel is located in the suburbs of Glasgow. It is very convenient to take a rest after coming down from the highlands. There are also delicious Asian dishes within 3 kilometers. The rooms are very simple and warm. The hotel is located in a small forest. There are plenty of parking spaces. When I was at the breakfast shop, I found that there was no Asian face. It was a good local experience.

Had a lovely one night stay. Check in with Fiona was very welcoming and efficient. The welcome drink is a nice touch, especially if you’re on your own. Used The Nook a couple of times. I felt the 80’s music in the sauna wasn’t necessary but if that’s your vibe! Breakfast was busy and I had to wait a few minutes to be seated, another staff member on the door would be beneficial.

I stayed when visiting for a concert so I checked in, dumped my bags and left. The hotel had great décor and was very central. The room itself was a very nice. Great shower. Our twin beds were close enough that we were pretty much in a double.

The old man at the reception desk was very nice. But there might be some event that night. The second floor was full of people. Please note that the second floor is the floor leading to the entrance. The first floor is the gym and spa room below. No one told me because it was too noisy. There was a cocktail party that day. Everyone was dressed in formal clothes... You looked like a backpacker who accidentally broke in. Can the reception banquet be arranged more privately? ? Can you not let other normal customers directly bump into your lobby? I have never seen such a crowded lobby in any hotel I stayed in in China. I don’t think I got enough help; especially when I ordered takeout and went downstairs to pick up the food, I could hardly find the door. The hotel staff didn’t introduce the facilities. I didn’t know there was a restaurant below. I didn’t know the dining policy. The most important thing was that it was too noisy. I felt that it was almost impossible to ask questions. When I left the next morning, I still felt that I didn’t sleep well.

Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. There was evening room service available so didn’t have to go out after a long day. We didn’t use the facilities-gym, and we didn’t eat at the restaurant. We had a quick stay but it was just perfect for our needs

The surrounding environment is very good, the scenery is pleasant, the hotel is right by the river, the parking lot is relatively large, and it is a little far from the business.
