Obviously the location of the hotel for the Ovo Hydro is ideal but the quadruple inflation of the price when there is a decent concert on is daylight robbery. Agreed it was a busy weekend for them but the room was not clean and smelled of sweaty feet. The hotels public areas are looking a bit shabby too but that said the staff were lovely and the breakfast was good so not all bad.

Great location for visits to Ovo Hydro or Armidillo. Brilliant service at check in from Michelle. Really friendly and helpful Sadly the room was too hot and air conditioning wouldn't go below 19 degrees Pillows were hard . Beds and bath too high for me. Although I've always had this problem in premier inns.

The stay was very comfy, hotel room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location is ok. You can reach the center easily by one bus. . It is quite beautiful property, new, fresh, comfy, highly suggested for families, but they makes us step on the dirty ground in our room and expect us to go to bed like that. After long trip you get tired and everything once you go into your room you want to take shower and go to your bed with clean feeds. It is not possible in this hotel. We asked the reception to give us slippers but they don't have it. However, the worst thing was the response of the receptionist, the old lady told me it is Premier inn, it is a basic hotel, I told her it is a basic thing we asked for. I don't understand this. Why slippers are considered luxury in this hotel? We haven't had any other problems neither with the staff nor with the venue but the damn slippers.. We asked the reception to allow us to the breakfast without extra charges they didn't even ask the duty manager they directly rejected this request. We did not want to go for breakfast without knowing it. But the hotel didn't allow us. I wanted to eat at the hotel once I arrived but the bar said kitchen was closed at 22.00. They didn't offer me any other solutions. So I had to order from outside. I wanted to enjoy a warm food at the hotel after long day but the service quality was bad.

Stayed here as I usually do when I'm in Glasgow especially when I'm going to a concert at OVO Hydro. This hotel is excellent, the rooms lovely & clean, the food in the restaurant great & most importantly is the staff who are all lovely, friendly & can't do enough for you to make sure your stay is great.

Great hotel location for concerts at Ovo Hydro, directly over the viver, a couple of minutes walk. 5 to 10 mins walk from the nearest train station. We had a Premier Plus room on the 5th view with a window (more about that later) looking over to the Hydro. Great when dark, and the building is all lighten up. Large spacious room for 2. Comfy bed, extra pillows if required. Bathroom with toiletries included - one is hand wash, and one is body wash. Don't make the mistake I did and not bring shampoo and conditioner, unless you want to wash your hair with body wash. Wifi and ultimate wifi - sketchy at best of times, rarely connects and 5G doesn't seem that great. Only 2 bath towels and one hand/hair towel provided. More can be obtained for reception, but surely it would be easier if they just gave 2 bath and 2 hair towels to start with. The window and unnecessary giant curtain. The window is small, but the small curtain does not cover the window, so you need to use the giant curtain too. The room feels very dark. A suggestion for behind the giant curtain, as another window must not be possible - how about a painting of the river view, something bright to make the room look lighter. Overall a great stay and I would stay again and recommend. Just a few tweaks and I would rate in 5 out of 5 for the location, experience etc.

Booked the hotel to go to a concert at the Ovo Arena. One night cost us £205, basic double room, a bit grubby, two of us but only one hand towel, really? Price didn’t include breakfast which is 10.99 per person 3xtra, oh and £5 per day to park…the evening was a birthday treat for my wife to see Take That. They are at the Ovo for 3 nights, our night being the second night so the hotel is rammed. Get back from the concert to find a queue half a mile long t9 buy a drink at the bar, only two staff serving. Fed up waiting as it’s now half an hour in the queue, ask someone at reception to have another staff member to staff the bar to be told computer says no. Gave up, went bed. Customer service, -10 points, have stopped at lots of Premier Inn in the last few years, never again. If I treated my customers like this I would have no customers left. Shame on you Pacific Quays Premier Inn…..

We’d booked tickets for the SECC and this hotel was perfectly sited for easy access as well as simple to travel to. It was also ideally situated for visiting other attractions such as the Transport museum and Science Centre. Parking was good and a reasonable price but be careful when entering your car reg, I messed up and there is no way of paying historically as I have done at other sites so I’m expecting a fine even though I attempted to contact the parking management company. 🙄

Great location and views, thanks to Michelle for sorting out our room when we arrived. Breakfast was fantastic and slept well. Only negative I would say is that the rooms where quite tired compared to the rest of the hotel but perfect adequate and clean.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, in line with what we have come to expect from Premier Inn and it was very good value considering the convenient location close to the centre of Glasgow. As usual for Premier Inn, the breakfast was excellent. There was also plenty of parking available at a reasonable price for a city centre hotel.
