The evening meal was appalling. We paid for the meal deal and then a few add ons. We ordered the gammon and mixed grill. Incredibly disappointing mixed grill, steak was small and undercooked, the gammon was smaller than a fried egg and inedible, the chicken was the size of half a tomato and dry. The gammon steak of the other meal was the size of a fried egg and incredibly salty. Our server was very inattentive and disinterested. When asked if we could move to a window table we were given a look and told the tables hadnt been cleaned yet. They later came back and moved us although they didnt seem pleased and then she ignored us. We have stayed in many premier inns but this is the first time we have had to complain. I didnt complain at the time as i felt it wouldnt be heard and i didnt want to make a scene. We had had an incredibly arduous day as our son was admitted to hospital. We just wanted to be served with a smile and get some decent food. Your servers may need to be reminded that they do not know what kind of day their customers have had and a smile and some courtesy goes a long way. I work in the hospitality industry so i understand if you are at the end of long shift it can be difficult to keep smiling but we must. As regular customers of Premier Inn we were incrediblt disheartehed by this experience.

Been here about 9 times now, this time was the worst ever. Self check in not good, was better with the personal touch. Didn’t get much sleep due to fire alarm going off during the night and may I add the staff only 2 what we saw need extra training on fire alarm procedures, then no sleep after that and night after that due to upstairs occupants, reported to a member of staff who informed the manager but apparently we should have reported to reception, which I may add is unmanned now and rang the night before for two hours without anyone answering. Thought informing the manager would be better than reception staff. Go figure. Have sent a complaint, but told because I didn’t inform reception they wouldn’t do anything. I asked for an escalation but still the answer was no. Also the morning after the fire alarm going off no chef was available so only continental breakfasts available Thought there motto was ‘a good night sleep guaranteed’ Probably only when it suits, will not be returning again as it’s gone right down in my estimation.

Fluffy pillows, excellent facilities, great parking, friendly staff, fantastic for the OVO hydro, clean hotel, quiet corridor, air conditioning was great as it was roasting hot , never used TV but looked like plenty of choice to watch if desired

A little disappointing trip this time. Car parking charge now £12, which i don't mind paying, but notification of increase would of been good. Self check in is hopeless, 5 times i had to present my card for payment, and now an extra £15 charge if you wish your room 30 mins early. If cleaned and ready why? We ended going over to the Crowne Plaza and had lunch and drinks there as nothing available at Premier. Mix up with my evening meal, wrong meal delivered, had to chase an member of staff to get it rectified. Fire alarm going off at 2am, is not a "Restful Night" which they are promoting. View from room was a wall, even the car park view is better. All in all a little bit of a disaster stay, has it put me off? to be honest a little, not the same as previous trips.

We stayed here last weekend for two nights and enjoyed a wonderful stay. Very modern hotel in a great location. Lovely, friendly staff, a nice clean, cosy room and a great outdoor terrace overlooking the river. We'd like to say a big thank you to Michelle who gave us a fab room with beautiful views of the river, Armadillo and Hydro arena. We'd also like to say a big thank you to Denice at reception for all her tips on where to visit, this was our first time staying in Glasgow and that was a great help. They were both so friendly and accomdating as was Nathan at the bar. The location is great for gigs at the Armadillo & Hydro, and only a short walk to the city centre. We had such a lovely stay, we already know we will be back to stay again and explore more of Glasgow. Thank you to all of the staff who worked that weekend and made our stay. Emma Stephen

Oh dear Premier Inn, what have you done? We arrived to be met by self checking terminals! Scan your QR code it says, nope! Try again, nope! Lassie came to assist, got my booking to show but then tried to add my wifes name as the 2nd guest........... Nope! Lassie came back to offer assistance, got it done. Oh! says the lassie you've booked a meal deal, yes says I, have you booked a table says she? Aye, I booked a meal deal says I, but you should've been told to book a table when you booked your meal deal she says, we're fully booked till 7pm! So, no meal available! Not the Premier Inn we've been accustomed to. We used to look forward to booking in where a real person greeted us and gave us our room key, it certainly was a lot faster than this present system. On a separate note, the room was clean but the shower had areas of black mould. I've never seen this before in a Premier Inn and we've stayed in a few.

the staff was lovely and welcoming to us when we arrived as we got ready for a concert to see Chase Atlantic and was a quick walk from the hotel to the ovo hydro. however on departure we had house keeping staff walk in our room whilst we was still in there and it made us feel more rushed to get out but it was only 9am i do understand as i work in a premier inn myself but knocking on the door insted of entering

Perfect location for attending a Gig at the Hydro. Rooms are lovely and clean, cosy bed. Staff are super helpful and friendly. We had a fully accessible room as I'd not long had a knee replacement and the wetroom was a godsend. So nice to have a stand up shower! Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a gig nearby, and honestly, the location is the main reason to book. It was incredibly convenient – literally under a 10-minute walk to my venue which saved me a lot of hassle. Getting there was easy too. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a Premier Inn: the room was fine, bed was comfy enough for a decent night's sleep, and having the Thyme restaurant downstairs came in handy for end of the day grabbing dinner with no energy to go out.
