The hotel was under renovation without a proper lobby or dining facilities. This was not mentioned at the time of booking, which might have made us change plans to stay somewhere else. Rooms are run down and old fashioned, though good sized and clean

Had a great overnight stay at the Marriott Glasgow .Our executive room was clean also gave us access to the lounge where we enjoyed complimentary snacks and drinks. Breakfast was amazing with loads of choices. Reception staff were lovely and let us have an early check in.

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel to stay for 2 nights. The hotel was very outdated, dirty, not worth the money I spent. When I arrived to my room I found food leftovers on one of the night stands so I went down to ask the front desk to send someone to clean, but of course no one showed up. My doughter found hair in the bathtub as well. The breakfast wasn't fresh. Moreover, they used very old beaten up utensils that didn't honestly look very clean. The swimming pool was very outdated and smells bad. Won't stay at this hotel again.

I went there to treat my bfriend for his bday and I was promised that there will be a prosecco in the room as I called the day before but upon checking by Miss Shannon never mentioned anything, she seemed to be very busy and she did not give us the best welcome to be honest. When we went in the room, there was nothing and the room was not the best, it seemed that the room was allocated upon arrival so not the first beginning! it was a quiet room but really boring decoration and small and the bed very uncomfortable. Very disappointed and also the sink tap in the room was broken, the internet in the room was very slow and we couldn’t put youtube or kind of and 1 lamp was not working. I informed reception before we left but we came back everything was the same so I requested to be moved and we were upgraded immediately to the 11th floor and much better room definitely! The bfast was very nice and the staff very helpful even though they forgot my omelette, Miss Chloe was very friendly. The breakfast chef was very professional and made sure the buffet was always with food. I had a pleasant stay in the end as the swimming pool is a bonus. This hotel reminds me when I was working in hospitality years ago as everyone seems to be very busy and stressed around but they smiled you on the way.

After all, it is an old American-style hotel. The rooms are quite large and the breakfast is much richer than the previous hotels. Since the train goes to Glasgow and the plane leaves, the hotel's location is quite convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the train station, and then you can also walk 5 or 6 minutes to the 500 airport bus, which will arrive at Glasgow Airport in 15 minutes. The breakfast was quite rich. Since there was an early flight on the day of departure, the hotel also prepared breakfast packages. Although the muffins were cold chain and the ice had not yet melted, hahaha. Overall quite satisfied.

I think the first client was William Wallace, the hotel needs urgent renovation, good breakfast but nothing special, location is not the best, the spa is very outdated and on top of that you have to leave the hotel, from the changing rooms to the pool it gives you too much air.

It has more traditional hotel facilities and the price is much cheaper than in Edinburgh. I will continue to book it if I come back next time.
