Aparthotel Adagio Glasgow Central

Nice stay as always, rolls are super clean and tidy. Staff are always welcoming in reception and helpful with arrival. Will stay here again.

This trip was to visit family for Christmas. I knew I’d need an escape so booking a hotel was WISE. Originally booked for 3 days, my flight got cancelled and then rebooked for an earlier arrival time so I had to book an extra day earlier. Thankfully, They had availability. At check-in, The front desk was incredibly nice and polite. The breakfast was worth paying for. I ended up extending my stay because I enjoyed the Location, convenience and that it was a studio with a cooktop. The last 2 days of my stay were not as enjoyable as the upstairs or next door neighbours were very loud. It wasn’t worth complying to the front desk about as I just used earplugs.  The beds are hard, not quite easy Asia hard but close with that, I’d stay again the location with brekky and having a cook top. Worth it.

We booked a studio! The interior is well decorated, nice view over the city! The staffs were really friendly. We enjoyed our stay there! Also, it’s a dog-friendly hotel which was a plus!

Everything was terrific but the gym can be better. The kitchen made very good haggis

Perfect location. I bedroom room very spacious, great kitchen . Only problem was water took about an hour to drain from shower the wet room turned into a pond.

Everything was perfect except the morning I booked us breakfast at the hotel. Was met rudely by the woman in charge of breakfast stating it was not included... I advised her we had just paid at reception and she rolled her eyes. Went to the buffet and the milk had run out so asked her for some more and her response was there is some in the silver jug also if we looked. Another guest told her not to be so rude and stated there was none there either. She went to look and showed us it dripped some milk... I thought she was joking at this point but she stated it was enough to get us all tea.. I said I would like cereal please as we are paying a lot for breakfast and her response was "and?" Everyone in the room was shocked as she stormed off... the orange juice also ran out and we were all denied a refill. Then at 9.59 am (breakfast runs until 10am) she started cleaning things away and my Mum and another guest asked her for 1 coffee before she turned off the machine and she stated it was 10am and they were all too late. At this point I went to reception as we paid and were denied many things and the response was to apologise but the guy stated management like her to clean up everything fast.... coffee was at least permitted which angered the woman and she continued then to bang plates angrily around us all. A horrible experience to an otherwise excellent hotel and stay. Rooms are well equiped and spotlessly clean but the staff in question should not be allowed to treat guests like this so avoid breakfast here as she does not want to work or treat people like humans it seems. Paid money for things we were refused and we were there 45 minutes before breakfast ended. Other guests went to front desk to discuss this also.
