Perfect stay for my friend and I that we were travelling the avenue verte by bike. They wwarmly welmoced us and stored our bikes safely in a dedicated safe area. Room Spacious and clean. Recommended!

Moderne or not Moderne
De "Moderne", il n’y a que le nom. Hotel passé d’age. A besoin d’un gros rafraichissement notamment dans les chambres.

After a 75 mile cycle ride from Dieppe en-route to Paris, we stopped for the night in Gisors and were fortunate enough to book into this great little hotel. Directly opposite the Train Station, this hotel is an absolute gem!! The rooms are extremely clean and the bed I had was amazingly comfortable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for a budget stay!!! The Manager even provided me with a replacement Room Key after I lost mine, interrupting him watching the France ‘v’ Portugal game in the Euro’s..!!!!!

Very helpful and service minded owner/ manager. When arriving Gisors, our apartment for the night was closed and it was not possible to contact the owner. The manager at Hotel Moderne made an effort to help us, and finally got us a double room for the night although the hotel was actually fully booked.

L'hôtel n'a de moderne que le nom ! Il aurait bien besoin d'un rafraîchissement ! La peinture s'écaille un peu partout ! Pas mal de toiles d'araignée au dessus du lit qui ne dataient pas de la veille. Après signalement elles ont été enlevées en nous disant qu'à la campagne il y a toujours des toiles d'araignée, qu'elles reviendront et que ça prouve que l'hôtel est sain ! N'empêche qu'on s'en passerait bien ! Quant à la salle de bain, le rideau en tissus n'est pas hygiénique et il y a une forte odeur d'égout qui vient du syphon du lavabo. Il manque aussi une 2eme prise autour du lit C'est dommage tout ça car l'accueil avait été bien sympathique ! La gare juste en face ne gêne en rien, on n'a entendu aucun train pendant les 3 nuits ! Les volets électriques sont appréciables ! Par contre les murs ne sont pas très épais ! En conclusion, pour un court séjour ça peut passer ....

La personne qui nous a accueilli était très disponible, Pour nous guider et garer nos vélos dans un local sécurisé. L’hôtel est simple mais bien placé : parking gratuit proche de la gare. Le petit déjeuner parfait. L’hôtel est un peu ancien mais bien entretenu et propre. Je recommande.

Hôtel simple. Hôtel qui a certainement été bon dans les années 70/80 : établissement aujourd’hui défraichi (moquette partout, luminaire de chevet très spartiate, pas de prise autour de la tète de lit, salle de bains dans son jus des années fastes,…), le tout accompagné d’un service d’enregistrement très minimaliste (après 19h, c’est fini, avant 16 h pas possible), un ptt déjeuner tardif à partir de 08h30. Pour ce qui est de ce dernier, simple (il fait le job) mais un peu triste (pas de fruit, …). Rapport qualité prix défavorable (88 euros la nuit, 10 euros par personne pour le ptt dej)… Pour le calme, ok, mais avons séjourné dans la nuit d’un samedi / dimanche. A voir pour ce qui est du trafic SNCF de la semaine, car situé en face de la gare. A vous de voir, mais vu la faiblesse de l’offre sur Gisors…
