I went for my best friend's wedding and it was a fantastic experience. Beautiful setting, exceptionally professional staff, everything went incredibly smoothly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable wedding location. Comfortable beds, amazing staff, excellent food and drink. Can't recommend it enough

The venue was utterly fantastic. The staff were friendly, professional and enjoyed our banter. Checkkng in was a breeze and finding my room (lodge) was easy and my view over tye valley was breathtaking. This venue is off the road, out in the countryside and I believe it is a hidden treasure. I will deffinately stay again.

Another amazing stay at Stirk House. Staff so friendly could not do enough for you. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. What can one say about the food, Amazing, f a b u l o u s cooked to your speculations. Hats off to the chef's. Tasted divine espically that choclate moose outstanding. Definatly come back again and would highly recommend it as somewhere to stay

What an amazing weekend had by all. From the beautiful grounds, the lovely food, gorgeous views to the amazing staff; we had the best time. We attended my husband's sister's wedding on the 1st of November and loved every minute. Special shout out to Dave the MoC, what a guy! If you want to book the best room, 51 is the one.

Went in late October for a 1 night stop over. We were impressed by the beautiful house and setting. The room was in an annex out the back. The building was a little tired but the room was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Most of all the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was great. All in all, fab stay and value.

Visited recently with some friends for a short break. Apart from not being able to find any clearly marked disabled parking, the whole break was hassle free. We had lovely, spacious rooms and appreciated the guest lounge in an evening with its cosy fire. We dined in the hotel one evening and really enjoyed the meal. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. We would be happy to make a return visit should the opportunity arise.

We love Stirk House! What made it most amazing is that it was our wedding day and they were so lovely and the best venue to have our reception at. The most beautiful grounds, and just the perfect place to have your wedding! We honestly could not be happier with how our day went. The professionalism was high class and they are all just the most amazing staff.

We booked a suite as it seemed such good value and turned out to be one of the most comfortable, and certainly the largest, of hotel rooms. Very comfortable (huge) bed, very clean (everywhere) and well appointed - the bathroom was extensive! We were room 1. The staff are all particularly friendly and helpful. I thought the food a little overpriced but hot and tasty and the restaurant itself is an impressive place. Very good breakfast. We have reason to be in this part of the country annually and will visit again.

We have just returned from a wedding stay. The venue was absolutley stunning but more importantly all the staff from every team where exeptional. From the function team, front of house teams, catering and the lovely house keeping team nothing was too much trouble for each friendly and attentive staff member. I really can't praise the venue enough. Thank you Stirk house hotel for a perfect weekend.
