I went for my best friend's wedding and it was a fantastic experience. Beautiful setting, exceptionally professional staff, everything went incredibly smoothly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable wedding location. Comfortable beds, amazing staff, excellent food and drink. Can't recommend it enough

The venue was utterly fantastic. The staff were friendly, professional and enjoyed our banter. Checkkng in was a breeze and finding my room (lodge) was easy and my view over tye valley was breathtaking. This venue is off the road, out in the countryside and I believe it is a hidden treasure. I will deffinately stay again.

Everything about this hotel was just fine. The ambiance of the architecture, the log fires, the comfort of the beds and other furniture. Absolutely first class. However all was topped by the wonderful staff, the kindest, friendliest and most helpful people you are will ever find anywhere. The absolute best! Thank you.

Came for a friends wedding this weekend and the venue and especially all the staff were amazing. The attention to detail was great and everyone was super helpful. Would totally recommend it as a wedding venue or just a weekend away. Food was great and Dave was a legend!

We have just had our wedding at Stirk house. We fell in love with the place when we first visited but what really makes this hotel special is it's people. Every single member of the team make your visit special, going out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and having a great time. From the front of house team to the chef serving breakfast everything is done with obvious love for what they do and they all show how proud they are of the hotel and the service they provide. The wedding team however are the stars of the show Danielle, Lucy and Dave. If you are considering a wedding at Stirk house stop reading this and get it booked you won't be disappointed. Great food, comfy beds outstanding service and a warm and friendly welcome awaits!

Went to celebrate the wedding of our son. Arrived to a lovely warm welcome by the receptionist which set the tone for the weekend. All the staff very kind, helpful and friendly but our MC, Dave, deserves the greatest praise. He was wonderful and certainly helped make the whole weekend a huge success. The food was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. Would certainly recommend Stirk House as the ideal wedding venue.

Everything about the stay was superb. The venue was lovely, rooms very comfortable and Xmas decs were fab! Reception very helpful, facilities to dress before wedding were adequate. The staff were great. The wedding itself was perfect, the room, entertainment, food, organisation, decor was fantastic. At breakfast we enjoyed a fab breakfast made by Mark who was a very chatty chef but obviously takes pride in his work! Not to mention the waitresses at breakfast, made feel very welcome and homely.

We visit this hotel atleast once a year and always have the same welcoming experience. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, food is always amazing and the rooms are always cleaned to a very high standard. We loved our stay in January and our room was lovely with beautiful views. We will be back soon!
