It’s a magical place, from the moment you press the buzzer at the gate to announce your arrival, then wait for the electric gates to slowly welcome you to the beautiful drive through the grounds to the castle at the top of the hill, where staff are waiting at the entrance to take your bags and park your car. Service and attention to every detail are above and beyond. Beautiful floral arrangements meet you in every room. The food is outstanding, and cocktails And canapés before dinner are exquisite. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world , and Glenapp is right on the top of our list

From the start to finish - what an experience - each and everyone at the castle were so lovely. Everyone so friendly. I can highly recommend anyone to go and have timeout here. We chose the 7 course starter menu which was great - trying food if not normally do.

A most excellent stay in south-west Scottish countryside. Fantastic location, amazing grounds and amenities and a resident team which reaches the highest standard. The experience was an overall 10+ for us: semi-retired active Canadian couple.

We visited for afternoon tea. From the moment we arrived until we left it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. We were told, via the intercom at the gates, how to reach the hotel. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly young man who took our coats and escorted us to our table. The table service was excellent and the afternoon tea was a delight and I would say was good value for money. When we left we had the same treatment as we did on arrival. A very friendly young man who helped us on with our coats and took some photos of us outside the hotel.

A 2-day stay was not quite long enough to enjoy everything this wonderful hotel had to offer. A sumptuous feel to the whole location: the room was very comfortable, meals were delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. Gardens and grounds were a pleasure to explore.

We were at Gleneagles two days before we stayed at Glenapp and there is no comparison between the hotels. Gleneagles is good, Glenapp is outstanding. If you want the very best that Britain has to offer, select Glenapp. It's the best of the best!

From the warmth of the welcome, to the amazing food and grounds and the outstanding care of all the team. If you've chosen to stay at Glenapp Castle you're in for a luxurious treat. My husband and I booked to stay to celebrate our birthdays and wedding anniversary, and we weren't disappointed. The grounds were beautiful. I'm gluten free and the GF food was outstanding. Try the hot chocolate for a decadent treat. We had some whilst watching the glory of the northern lights which showed up to top the enjoyment of our stay. Well done Glenapp team.

Lovely location, great property, friendly and welcoming team. Obi (our 4 month cocker puppy) had a wonderful time too! Great walks in the woods and area, close to beach, 5 minute drive. Lovely food and service, we look forward to returning.
