Just wow! An amazing apartment in the old town and close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The apartment is brilliant. Well furnished with all amenities such as washing-machine, dryer, dishwasher , utensils etc! There is free parking 10 mins walk away or paid parking nearer. Don’t think twice. Just book

This was very much a last minute booking for a quick weekend away. We had seen the apartments on line and were sceptical given the cost which was only €218 for two nights in a deluxe apartment. With some apprehension we checked in at the hotel that the apartments are affiliated to walked across the bridge to the old town. Wow, what a find. A total bargain. Two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, towels, robes, hairdryer, slippers, washing machine and tumble dryer, a gorgeous balcony overlooking Place Del Vi and the best location to sight see and wander round Girona. Highly recommend this exceptional apartment!!

We stayed here for 5 nights, and took the train from Barcelona, which is fast and comfortable. Check in is at Hotel Ciutat de Girona, a 4 star hotel which in on the other side of the river. Although only a 5 minute walk away, the route is cobbled and over a bridge, so not ideal if you have suitcases or mobility issues. It was a problem for us, and we ended up calling a taxi for the short journey, as there was no one at the hotel to help. Although there were just the 2 of us, I had booked the largest apartment (3 bed/2 bath) because this seemed to have an outside terrace. It is a lovely apartment with lots of space and is bright and airy. The location is of course in the old town, which is gorgeous, and the building itself is beautiful. Our apartment was on the top floor, with 2 terraces. (Luckily there is a lift.) A tiny kitchen area with a table and 2 chairs, and another roof top terrace (which isn’t really overlooked) with a table and 4 chairs. The roof terrace is accessed via one of the bedrooms and gets plenty of sun. (A sun lounger would have been ideal). The bathrooms are an unusual design, and the air conditioning seemed to circulate the smell of cooking (we turned it off). Otherwise, the apartment is well presented and larger than the photos suggested to me. Fully equipped and practical, it was also comfortable and relaxing. You can never be sure when hiring apartments, as peoples expectations/choices differ so much, but I was delighted with this choice. Girona is a beautiful town, and we really enjoyed our stay.
