It is an excellent spot for a relaxing, close-to-nature getaway but still near the city. Getting to the place is easy, and the road is in good condition. There are activities for all the family, from a two-segment zip line to water bikes. Also, they have two types of accommodation: a traditional room-based one in the main house and several others in the mountains, like a dome or a glass house. The staff is amiable, and the place has a sustainability focus, with solar PV, concentrators for hot water, a small windmill, and a run-of-river generator. I highly recommend checking out the onsite-produced handicrafts made from fique (a type of yarn) by local countrywomen. They are building a small spa, which I hope will be finished by my next visit in 2024.
