Mekong Home is a beautiful family owned and run Hotel/Homestay based in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Bedrooms are bungalows set in the lush gardens, surrounded by coconut trees and each have a deck complete with hammock! Pretty basic accommodation but all the regular amenities can be found. They rely on solar power to heat the water so don't expect boiling water on a hazy day. Staff couldn't be more delightful and helpful. Footbath was an added bonus! We ate all our meals onsite which were absolutely delicious and took advantage of the gorgeous swimming pool. Bikes, cookery demonstration and sunset cruise available too.

Outstanding experience! From the beautiful scenery, friendly staff, delicious food and relaxing environment. Definitely a place to visit either couples, family or solo! The staff goes out of their way to ensure you are happy, confortable and enjoy your visit.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, always available to help but never pushy. Food was home cooked and exceeded expectations - I’m gluten intolerant and they always had gluten-free alternatives for me. An utopia of relaxation.

This was one of our favourite hotels in Vietnam. It’s run by a family who look after guests so well and provide a personal and friendly service. The rooms are little bungalows set in the beauty of the Mekong delta where you get a real taste of Vietnam at its best. The food was stunning and the family took pride in explaining their heritage. The foot bath, cooking experience and a morning cycle around the neighbourhood were highlights. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The Mekong Home is a magnificent complex surrounded by palm trees and directly on the banks of the Mekong. The central kitchen gives a very family feel and the manager is very available to plan the various surrounding activities and visits. The food is excellent and the rooms comfortable. An address to recommend.

A gem of a place to stay in peace and tranquility to explore the area. The family run hotel is a little bit of paradise and the rooms are sufficiently equipped but sensitively decorated to the surroundings and the hotel's ethos. We experienced a cooking demonstration followed by an array of Vietnamese foods - all delicious. The bike ride , with a guide from the hotel , was a lovely way to start our day and explore the surrounding countryside. Definitely choose Mekong Home for your Mekong stay ! Delightful!

Beautiful location, and grounds! A perfect stay in Ben Tre if you want to get away and be in rural Mekong. Rooms are simple and tastefully done. Food is very good. Easy to arrange transit or tours. Or also easy enough to DIY by hopping on a bike and riding around. As with so many stays in Vietnam, what truly is a highlight of this place are the staff and people. Would easily stop again when next in the Mekong, or if just a quick get away from the city.
