Beautiful location, and grounds! A perfect stay in Ben Tre if you want to get away and be in rural Mekong. Rooms are simple and tastefully done. Food is very good. Easy to arrange transit or tours. Or also easy enough to DIY by hopping on a bike and riding around. As with so many stays in Vietnam, what truly is a highlight of this place are the staff and people. Would easily stop again when next in the Mekong, or if just a quick get away from the city.

The most incredible place to explore the Mekong area, absolutely recommend including in your trip to Vietnam! The family who run Mekong Home are so welcoming and helpful. As a family we felt right at home immediately. The food, pool, views, rooms (comfy beds!), location are all 10/10. The best place to unwind after a very busy holiday with small kids before heading home. You can do as little or as much as you wish.

The environment is magical. Butterflies, flowers, palm trees and of course the Mekong river. The beautiful swimming pool, Attentive staff. Healthy local food, beautifully presented, cooked by local village women. Evo friendly. No tv. Peace and quiet. Living outside, bicycles available. I looooove this place.

We loved Mekong Home! Location is great on the shore of mekong river. It is a small (charming and comfortable) paradise hidden in the jungle. The owner (who speaks English and French) and his family did absolutely everything to make our stay unforgettable. Lot of activities and fantastic food. What else?

Well worth the travel from Saigon. Beautiful location, comfortable lodges, delicious food and really welcoming staff. Rooms were beautifully laid out and rustic. Fun cooking class in the evening making pancakes. Free bicycles to rent were also a welcome bonus.

This is a fabulous choice of accommodation. The rooms are simple but clean and equipped with the amenities you need for a short stay. The pool is in a great setting for a relaxing dip. The hotel is situated on the river side convenient for a fun trip along the river sightseeing and great for sunsets. The food is plentiful and delicious. The staff are amazing - so helpful it’s unbelievable. The highlight for me was the bike ride around the island, hopping on and off ferries and seeing off the beaten track villages. This place is highly recommended.

A paradise for relaxing, far away from the busy cities. The host family is beyond caring and kind and provides great service. I booked the sunset boat tour and was rewarded with a perfect sunset. Also worth mentioning is the delicios food (warning: large portions). The rooms are comfortable and incredibly cozy. Depending on the season and weather, the water from the shower may have a bit of salt, but that didn't bother me and even seemed to be good for the skin. The only small "negative" point: the bungalows are very thinly soundproofed from the adjoining room. You can hear voices and especially the closing of doors quite loudly. I would still come back anytime.

Very nice place. Only a few rooms, very quiet . On the Mekong with a very nice garden of nice coconut trees and local flowers. very nice and simple decoration with a lot of taste. The hospitality is exceptionnal. A lot of activity are proposed. Bicycle lesson of local cuisine. Excellent food and romantic dinner with a lot of sophistication. Lovely table wear, and dishes. For me by far Mekong Home has been tje best place to stay in the South Vietnam!!! I highly recommend .
