Mekong Home is a beautiful family owned and run Hotel/Homestay based in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Bedrooms are bungalows set in the lush gardens, surrounded by coconut trees and each have a deck complete with hammock! Pretty basic accommodation but all the regular amenities can be found. They rely on solar power to heat the water so don't expect boiling water on a hazy day. Staff couldn't be more delightful and helpful. Footbath was an added bonus! We ate all our meals onsite which were absolutely delicious and took advantage of the gorgeous swimming pool. Bikes, cookery demonstration and sunset cruise available too.

Mekong Home is truly an oasis in the middle of the jungle in the Mekong Delta. The service, the amenities, and the food, were all excellent. A lot of the hotels in this area do a nice job but don’t always get everything right. The beds are too hard or the food selection isn’t great… but that’s not the case at Mekong Home. They really do every detail right. We had a wonderful experience and are looking forward to coming back again, and again in the future.

At the very end of our wonderful trip to Vietnam, we spent one night in this paradise in the Mekong Delta. We really would have liked to stay longer. The small but beautiful complex is perfectly laid out, the bungalows are simply elegant, with a hammock on the terrace. The pool is very well maintained and nicely shaded. The team and the host welcome you with such warm friendliness that you get the feeling that they have been waiting just for you. The food is great and the location is perfect as a base for cycling excursions in the Mekong-Delta. A very clear recommendation from us.

WOW! We so enjoyed the unique and relaxing experience of the Mekong Home. We were greeted by lovely individuals and were entertained the entire 24 hours we were there. The boat ride, the basket making, the coconut farms, the local market (even souvenir shopping) and the scooter ride was all things we had never experienced before. And, the cooking demonstration was very educational. I can't forget to mention the traditional food ... outstanding! We had lunch, dinner and then breakfast that was all made right there for us and soooo much food! Thank you Mekong Home for a stay that we will talk about and embrace forever!

Stayed here for 2 days and one night absolutely amazing place. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Had a cooking class followed by a foot spa. The homes also have outdoor area and swimming pool. Would highly recommended people visit here.

Outstanding experience! From the beautiful scenery, friendly staff, delicious food and relaxing environment. Definitely a place to visit either couples, family or solo! The staff goes out of their way to ensure you are happy, confortable and enjoy your visit.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, always available to help but never pushy. Food was home cooked and exceeded expectations - I’m gluten intolerant and they always had gluten-free alternatives for me. An utopia of relaxation.
