The Restaurant is 4-star, the hotel not really
I have seen better equipped hostels than this 4 star hotel. There were no tooth brushes, no tooth paste, no shampoo nor conditioner offered. There was also no bathtub despite getting one of the pricier rooms. The spring mattresses seem quite old, the pillows were comfortable though. The air conditioning was not working well either.
The breakfast consisted of many sweets and biscuits (typical Italian), cornflakes, toast, sandwich cheese and some ham. There were no fruits or vegetables, not even eggs offered in the morning.
The staff though was very welcoming and caring. They took your orders and prepared your drinks. The coffee they use is excellent. The restaurant food is amazing and everyone is working hard to provide excellent service.
TLDR
The hotel is ok, the service is great, the food excellent, even if not balanced/healthy.

Excellent Stay
The hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel veramente bello , ottima posizione per potersi spostarsi nei dintorni ( Pescasseroli, scanno, roccaraso, l'aquila........), camere molto pulite con aria condizionata e wifi , complimenti al proprietario FRANCO, ai camerieri ALADIN, GIORGIO , allo chef ANTONIO, tutti bravi , disponibilissimi e cortesi, molto educati. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante , molto ben curato , il buffet degli antipasti molto abbondante a seguire anche i primi, secondi piatti molto pieni, per non dire esagerati. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto , se dovessi dare un voto darei un 10 e lode su tutto. Lo consiglio vivamente, se dovessi ritornare da queste parti, sicuramente sarà il mio primo obbiettivo . Un abbraccio a tutti alla prossima .

L’hotel è molto bello, con camere curate nei dettagli e bei balconi. Anche i prezzi autunnali sono accettabili. Tuttavia, non mi sento di consigliarlo, in quanto dalla notte che abbiamo trascorso è emersa una limitata attenzione verso i clienti. Nella sala ristorante si teneva una festa di compleanno; nulla di male nella musica o nel chiasso giovanile, ma trovo inaccettabile che all’una e mezza di notte si sentissero ancora clacson e, addirittura, che a quell'ora siano stati permessi fuochi d’artificio. Inoltre, un forte odore di brace è entrato in camera e vi è rimasto fino al mattino, nonostante le finestre spalancate. Capisco l’esuberanza dei giovani, ma permettere un simile caos significa non rispettare gli ospiti che scelgono la struttura per rilassarsi. Il risultato per noi è stata una notte insonne, segnata dal nervosismo. Metto una seconda stella solo perché il conto — non su mia richiesta — è stato ridotto per il disguido. Non credo che tornerò perché preferisco le strutture che mettono il cliente al centro.
