Hotel Sansui Naha Ryukyu Onsen Naminoue-No-Yu

The hotel is close to the airport and Naha's only beach. However, the connection to public transportation is very poor. You have to walk a long way. You also have to walk a few minutes to restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, there are two streets with the character of a *** ***** ******** nearby. As a man, you have to be prepared to be approached. The hotel rooms could be larger, but the bathroom is very good. The cleanliness was okay, but I had stains on the bed sheets. The reception staff could be more polite, the rest of the staff was fine but could be improved. On the plus side, there is a free shuttle service to the airport and you can use the pool, sauna and onsen for free. However, 4500 yen is charged for the skypool, but this includes free (alcoholic) drinks. A little too expensive for what is on offer, but overall not a bad choice.

Nice hotel. The area is near the shrine and nice to visit. But it’s very far from public transport so you need to walk a lot or take a taxi. The amenities are ok, but very different from the photos. The Onsen is old and not well maintained. Too crowded of people everywhere. Very noisy. I asked a room fra from the elevator and they gave me exactly in front of the elevator. The breakfast sponsored as something special is not a very good quality. The taste is medium. I enjoyed only the herbal tea area. Too many kids around. The rooms are extremely tiny. The front desk staff is very nice & gentle. But they did not explained to me how to get to the sauna. You have to sorted out everything by yourself. Very nice the bar on the rooftop and I loved the staff at the sky bar.

This hotel is great.. staff are polite and helpful. The onsen facilities is good. If have the chance to b3 back will nook again. Room us clean

Location: On the outskirts of Naha city - 15 mins by car from both the airport (traffic permitting) and city centre. Also within the red light district so not recommended to venture out on foot at night (see picture) Parking: Hotel has limited parking within premises for 1,500yen per day (but unlimited driving in and out of car park), and needs to reserve at the hotel at 11am each day (so if you arrive at night you'll at least have to sort out the first night yourself). There are small car parks dotted around the area but firstly, the car parks are small so no guarantee of spaces and secondly, the car parks are located amongst various love hotels. The best we found (in terms of location and safety) is one at Costa Village ESPANA which is 5 minutes on foot from the hotel (500yen overnight and 700yen day park) (see picture) Room: Very small (i.e. standard Japanese semi-doubles), but the bathroom is spacious with onsen facilities Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes, 1,900yen per person (kids eat for free) (see pictures) Facilities: Swimming pools on 2/F (free) and rooftop with bar (paid, so havent tried). Onsen on 2/F also opens till late, with both indoor and outdoor onsen, and quite packed

The room was very small and should have had a smaller bed to free up some space.  Instructors for the cooling/heating should be available in other languages.

I was very happy to stay here, there’s pick up & drop off service at the airport, the staffs are very nice and kind, everyone provide me a lot of flavor. It takes around 20 mins walk to Kokosai Dori Street. If you rent the car, you can find the parking around there or park at the hotel with ¥1500/day and I think it’s easy to drive to ooutside the town. Although it’s surrounded by love hotel but I think I still feel safe. and it’s quite close to airport, it takes only 10-15 mins.
