This is charming hotel located near Lake Gimo which not only provides a picturesque setting, but also a place where you can swim or take a dip directly out of the Spa sauna. The staff is tremendous and catered to our every need. The food is fresh and highlighted local fish and produce. In particular, my stay was made memorable by Hamza - who makes sure guests enjoy the Spa, Emil who provided some great cuisine for our group and Mitch who provided a bike for local rides. I recommend taking walks along the lake and you can see some of the homes that Stockholm residents have as weekend and summer get-aways. The beds are great and the breakfast was a great combination of all things one loves about Sweden - crisp breads, pickled products, smoked salmon etc. Definitely a great value!

Went here for a conference and was given a room in a distant building. These rooms were very old and the mattress on my bed almost fell off the frame as soon as I moved my body. I saw other rooms in other parts and they were amazing, so maybe they need to upgrade parts of the estate.

Skållhett spa
Deras spa var inte alls vad man förväntade sig, endast 3 bubbeltunnor och en bastu, vet inte om det kan kallas för ett spa, det var INTE värt de extra 195 kr/ pers som det kostade. Dessutom var vattnet i tunnorna skållhett ca 60 grader 😵 så det gick inte att bada och bubblorna lyste med sin frånvaro.
Annars var maten god och rummen okej men till överpriser.

This is a lovley place in north Uppland, just north of the city of Uppsala. A quiet place with a lot of splendid areas. The lake is ideal for a swim or a boat trip (rowing). The restaurant offers good food (priceworthy), and the wine selection is fine.

This is a great place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The surroundings are nice, the rooms are good. The breakfast has lots of delicious choices including fresh fruit. The highlight of my stay was to sit and relax with a drink on the second floor of the manor house, it is absolutely gorgeous.

We were at the business trip during June 2023. Our room were far a way from main building in old house. The rooms were very small and dark. The room smell fusty and the carpet was dirty. In shower the water came all over floor. Both evening and nights there were lot of Mosquitos in the room. They came from ventilation valve. I asked help from the reception but nothing happened. The breakfast was Ok, but nothing extra. The price of the room was very expensive when taking account the quality of the room. We were very disappointed. TK

Helgmys med fästmön
Jag och fästmön övernattade lördag till söndag. Tog en drink och spelade biljard innan middagen. Det var jättemysigt. Åt sedan en tvårättersmiddag som var helt fantastiskt. Sov sedan jättegott i kassörsbostaden. Frukosten på Söndag var däremot under all kritik för ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. Luktade unket i korridoren på vårt boende.
