Premier Inn Chatham/Gillingham (Vic Pier)

We stay at Premier Inn's a lot and this was the friendliest we have ever visited. Great location for going to dockside which is a great place to visit.

Was staying in town for a nearby wedding, and we chose this hotel. We opted for a "Premier Plus" room and I think was worth the little extra charge for a slightly more comfortable room - with coffee machine, free bottled water in fridge, etc. The check-in service was good, we requested an early check-in and the manager was helpful in arranging this. Breakfast in the restaurant was good.

The good: ＞ Easy check in ＞ Very nice Chef on Sunday morning who offered things made especially and was welcoming ＞ Comfy bed (as expected) The bad: ＞ Leaking roof outside my door, dripping into a bucket all night, struggled to drown the noise out ＞ Staff didnt care / said i couldnt move rooms (which if none available i understand, but didnt seem they checked or tried anything, just a blunt no) ＞ Room was missing things listed such as coffee, water etc - when asking for these told they would be brought up and nothing appeared ＞ No parking available, and the entire area is surrounded by permit only parking - so be mindful of this if returning in the evening as struggled to find any parking nearby ＞ Towels and shower dirty in the room upon arrival, just took some fresh towels from a cart i found nearby

Another great stay at a Premier Inn Hotel - friendly helpful staff, comfy rooms and a great breakfast - what more do you need?

Friendly welcome, staff very helpful. I need to call out our chefs Martin and Janine when we had dinner Saturday night. Food was gorgeous but also our server (who was also lovely) was quite busy and I could see our food waiting to be picked up and Janine saw me and brought it over to us herself. And then Martin filled our water bottles up with icy water, exactly as we wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble and it made our evening even better than we expected! And of course, the Premier Inn beds! Always the best for good sleep:-)

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. There was always plenty of parking with plenty of signage to be in the correct area of the car park, although I knew to be aware of this from reading reviews before our stay. The location worked well for us both for driving on days out as well as walking to local places like the pub and supermarket. The best part of our stay was the restuarant for breakfast. We did try it at other mealtimes. For breakfast, there was plenty of food available and is much easier when you can help yourself. There was some scaffolding up during our time of staying but we were the other end of the hotel and didn't hear or see any work going on.

Always a good stay at this Hotel. Friendly helpful staff, and the food is of a really good quality… I’ve stayed here a few times over the years, and find the service very good.

Popped in for Breakfast, fantastic as usual, great to see Les back, food was excellent as always. Staff very helpful and friendly, Les always remembers us. Great place to take the family for breakfast, even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

Premier Inns are my preferred budget chain and this one is no exception. Friendly and helpful staff, well set up rooms and decent food. The only reason for four not five stars this time is that the air conditioning control panel stopped working on our final night, and after a busy weekend the restaurant ran out of several basic items for breakfast.
