Excellent breakfast 👌cooked to order, fresh, piping hot and best ever poached eggs. The staff were friendly and attentive. Room clean and comfortable and pleasantly quiet. Would definitely recommend and certainly return to this Pemier Inn.

Staff were lovely but the main thing for us is a good night's sleep. We usually use a travel lodge when needing a hotel for practicality because the beds are guaranteed to be big and comfy but we tried the prem due to a slightly better location. We chose a prem plus room but the bed was a standard double bed which is just too small for fully grown adults and the air con didn't work so we woke up in pools of sweat. We asked for the bedding to be changed but when we returned late at night it had only been remade not changed

First impressions - check in was great, receptionist offered to book me a table for dinner which I thought was nice. Once I entered my room everything seemed great, plenty of space, comfortable bed, clean environment. I wanted to study for my exam the day after and the room provided a nice quiet space to do this. However at around 1 in the morning before going to bed I got up and looked at my pillow to see a brown small bug crawling slowly. Initially I thought it was a cockroach, but I looked at it closer and I am confident it was a bed bug. Since it was late at night and I was too tired I did not raise this with staff and I ended up sleeping on the sofa with on of the extra sealed pillows rather than the bed. I would recommend a stay if necessary, it seems like my experience isn't common and I'm sure they'd have accomodated had I raised the issue but I wouldn't trust the hotel again unfortunately.

Room was shabby, damaged dressing table. Curtains didn’t fit size of window. Bed was hard. Arrived half hour before time and they wanted me to pay £10 for early check in. When I returned to check in half hour later no one was around so self checked in. No air on working. Room was stuffy and hot.

The difference between a good hotel and a great hotel is the attitude of the staff. We were greeted on arrival by Joanne, who was personable and cheerful. The room was everything that you expect from a Premier Inn:it was warm, clean and bright, with very comfortable bedding and pillows. We chose to eat in for evening meal and both meals were hot, tasty and reasonably priced. They were served promptly by Joanne, who ensured that we had everything we needed. Having enjoyed an excellent night's rest, we went down to breakfast, which was cooked by Les. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Once again, Joanne was on hand to ensure we had everything we needed and breakfast crockery was cleared away promptly. We have stayed in several Premier Inbs recently and can say with absolute certainty that the staff in this one create a positive, cheerful environment, which makes the hotel stay an absolute pleasure. We will have no hesitation in booking again when we are back in the area.

Premier Inns are predictable, which is their strength. You know the place will be clean the bed will be comfortable, pillows plentiful the shower will be effective, there is probably a bath in the bathroom. Stuff will work. Service is always reasonable but here it was exceptional. It made our stay more enjoyable as we used the bar and restaurant, there being little else in the vicinity. We chose the hotel as a base for for exploring the area visiting the Dockyard and the Royal Engineers museum. We were travelling by train, the station is less than 20 minutes walk or a short taxi ride. There are fast frequent services to London. We used walked and used Uber to get around. The nearest area with any restaurants and nightlife was Rochester, about £12 by Uber.
