Karma Kayak

The resort is nice even if a little dated, the staff are friendly. The location is really very inconvenient from the port where you arrive by boat. We had to walk about 2 km with heavy suitcases carrying them in the sand and rough and dirty roads because the only alternative means of transport was the cart pulled by poor exploited and abused horses which I wholeheartedly hope tourists stop using. We tried to use the bikes rented in the resort to transport our luggage but they practically prohibited us from doing so, tacitly supporting this exploitation, making us understand that there is some sort of mafia. Furthermore, the island is nothing special: very dirty, poorly cared for and the people really unpleasant.

We stayed with my husband for 6 days at this hotel and we really loved it. The location is perfect: away from the craziness of the center; The hotel is in the middle of 2 special areas: the center of the island where most of the locals are and the north side, where the places to watch the sunset are. From the hotel you can easily move by bicycle to these 2 areas. The hotel is on the coral beach, where although there are many corals and sometimes there is also a lot of garbage (as on most of the beaches on the island), the staff takes care to keep it impeccable. Also on this beach you have the most beautiful snorkeling on the island right there. The room (deluxe with sea view) is very nice and comfortable and they always keep everything very clean. The restaurant is exquisite and has a very pleasant and romantic atmosphere both during the day, but especially at night. They come from all over the island to enjoy there. However, of all, what captivated us most was the friendliness and kindness of all the staff here...It is what made us feel at home, like family every day! Die Lage direkt am Strand im etwas ruhigeren Nordosten von Gili T. mit sehr schöner Schnorchelmöglichkeit gleich vor dem Hotel ist phantastisch. Sitz- und Essmöglichkeit unter schattenspendenden Bäumen ebenfalls direkt am Strand. Zimmer in frischem, lokalem Stil frisch renoviert! Kühlschrank, Kaffeezubereitung, Tresor vorhanden. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, leckeres Frühstück (Früchte und Nescafé in Selbstbedienung, plus süsses oder salziges Frühstück à la Carte). Wir waren schon mehrmals in diesem Hotel und kommen gerne wieder!
