This hotel was close to the port so we didn't have to get a horse to get there even with our luggage. It has a nice restaurant with a lovely seafood buffet at night. The breakfast has 5 or 6 option which are really good! The bathrooms were interesting since they are actually outside with a roof covering only part of it. I was a little scared of rats and spiders to be honest. They offer diving too and prepare you in the pool before taking you out on the boat.

The resort is just right in front of Gili T beach and the water is crystal clear & white soft sands. Own of the best service I have ever encountered…really so attentive and always smile when chat with hotel guests. Highly recommended this resort is you are seeking for a quiet stays in Gili T. Oh ya…breakfast is awesome also

The staff is very friendly... it is very close to the port and all the shops and restaurants... there is not much noise at night... I really liked it

It is close to the speedboat pier and has a great location in front of the sandy beach. Sunrise can be seen from the beach. The breakfast that comes with the room is delicious and you can choose from 5 types, and it comes with coffee and fruit juice. In addition, for dinner, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue of fish, and you can enjoy a lot of salad dressings. The only downside is that the toilet is outside, so you might get bitten by insects.

A pleasant enough stay until my late check out was not honored, and I was summarily kicked out on my ass without a shower or being able to pack my bag. wi-Fi is pitiful, breakfast is amazing. Great location and rooms. Staff smiles and does not understand a word of English.

Great central location, short walk to Pier. Clean rooms some with outdoor bathrooms which give the feel of being in nature and really friendly staff. Special mention to Rial who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and organised a Birthday cake and along with Hari decorated my friend's room so incredibly beautiful for her birthday. Have to say the best staff I have ever found at a hotel anywhere. Only annoying part of the hotel is they have a diving School there that take up the pool a lot whilst they are doing the training. Beach is across the road and further down the Island is Turtle beach where you can snorkel just off the beach and see the turtles. also went snorkeling off Gili Meno to where the Statues are but this is so crowded so go really early before 9am to avoid the crowds.

This property was very central. About a 10 min walk from the port. Tons of bike rental available in front of property and has its own dive shop and beach front restaurant. Pool is nice but not facing the street. Not a luxury property but perfectly comfortable and clean.

Aweful experience. Cheaters. They will take your money and then refuse to give you the room you booked. Receptionist Diane, you should be ashamed for cheating people. Why do you work in a hotel if you hate people? Very dismal and dark room. Tiny public pool and terrible smell in the room. But the main complaint is that I was given a worse room without money refund.

Beautiful staff, great location, extensive fabulous menu. We had spacious, comfortable and well equipped rooms overlooking the pool. The ocean view rooms, which are directly over the bar and grill area, would be noisy and smoky. My massage experience with Andi in the Scallywags Spa was outstanding. I would recommend Scallywags to anyone and suitable for any age group.

Amazing After Sun Ritual (Rejuvenating Sunburn Therapy) treatment given by the lovely spa therapist, Misa. Misa was warm and inviting and provided an amazing treatment on my very sunburnt body. I will definitely be back next time I visit Gili Islands.

We had a great stay at Scallywags on Gili T. The staff are great, the restaurant is on the beach and offers super views. The spa is super - Mesr gives great massages and reflexology. The room is very comfortable and the outdoor bathroom is magical. Scallywags divers were great with snorkelling trips - it was an amazing experience snorkelling with turtles. And we appreciated the Go Pro filming. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our experience at Scallywags on Gili T was truly outstanding from start to finish. From our early arrival at around 11:00, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing cold towel – a small but delightful touch. What's more, we received a welcome drink and were pleasantly surprised to be shown to our room at 12:00, a whole three hours ahead of the standard 15:00 check-in time. Our room was impeccably clean and well-appointed with everything we could possibly need, from bathrobes to a selection of toiletries, a hairdryer, and even tea and coffee supplies. If you found yourself in need of anything extra, the reception had various items for sale, including bug spray and other merchandise. In our room, we discovered a generous supply of drinking water in a dispenser and the fridge stocked with carafes of cold water. The bed was not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable, and the sound insulation ensured a peaceful night's rest. One of the highlights of the hotel was its secluded pool area. It was meticulously maintained, with frequent cleaning and proper chlorine levels. There were plenty of sunbeds, tables, and chairs available, and they even offered complimentary towel rentals for hotel guests. Scallywags also boasted an on-site restaurant and a separate grill restaurant, both usually bustling with activity. We had the pleasure of trying the grill, and it did not disappoint. The buffet salad bar was a standout feature. Additionally, the hotel had an attached spa with a diverse range of reasonably priced treatments, although we regrettably didn't get a chance to experience them. As our stay drew to a close, we mentioned our plans to visit Scallywags Resort on Gili Air to the receptionist, Rizal. He went above and beyond by organising our transfer there! Rizal's helpfulness was truly appreciated and exemplified the exceptional service we received throughout our stay!
