Gili Tenda Resort was great, the staff there are so welcoming and helpful. You have to get a horse and carriage to the property if you have a lot of luggage however once you’re there you’re within walking distance from everything as the island is very small. You can hire bikes from the property which is what we did and it’s about 55000 for one day which is 24 hours. You can also hire snorkel stuff from them too. My room was very clean as was the rest of the property. Can’t fault anything.

We had a fantastic stay at this spot in Gili Trawangan. It’s in the perfect location — tucked away just enough to escape the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to easily join in on all the action when you want to. It really strikes that ideal balance of peace and accessibility. The accommodation itself is amazing — stylish, comfortable, and well laid out. That said, a few small touches would make a big difference: a full length mirror inside the room would be handy, and some cushions on the sunbeds are definitely needed for proper relaxation. The outside area could use a bit of tidying up, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. Staff were pleasant and helpful, although not the warmest we’ve encountered during our travels. A little more friendliness would go a long way. One big tip: avoid the room with the wall around it — it’s listed as a “private room,” but honestly, it gives off more of a prison vibe than a private retreat. All in all, this place is a brilliant option for your stay on Gili T. With just a few small improvements, it could be absolutely perfect. We’d still highly recommend it!

The place is really beautiful. The receptionist was very sweet person. She arranged snorkelling tour, laundry, transport at a very cheap rate. She also gave us little turtle souvenirs.
The place is deep inside the island 2km from the port, so it's better to take a horse carriage. The area is a little quiet and dark at the night, so i suggest you to take a torch with you. The pool is very salty, but if you wanna chill by the pool there's a lot of areas. The canteen inside is decent.

Really nice and large rooms, on the quiet end of the island. Close to everything as the island is tiny. The airconditioning works pretty well, which is nice as you’re staying in a “tent”. Lovely service, nice pool, good breakfast. Everything you could possibly ask for in a hotel!

This place is a small slice of heaven, surrounded by coconut palms and beautiful gardens. It is slightly off the beaten track so was very quiet, and some distance from the centre of town. Lovely room and bathroom, we didn't want to leave! Highly recommend.

We spent a total of 8 nights at gili tenda. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortabele. The staff were awesome! Very helpful and kind. Always willing to go the extra mile. The food was very tasty. We were even offered local food not on the written menu. The pool and facilities around it are beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Decent hotel, nothing more. Breakfast not very generous. Wake up at 5 a.m. by the call from the mosque. Aging tent fabrics. Good welcome. Permanent smell of burning waste all over the island, it's infamous but the hotel can't do anything about it. Meals and drinks are random in terms of composition.
