Coco Cabana

Very nice rooms with a local building experience. We enjoyed it here! Only thing we need to mention is (probably because of low season) it was quite odd that the staff chilled in the hotel. They were laying on the sun loungers and on the terrace of a room too. It was a little confusing because we basically saw them most of the time relaxing on their phone when the hotel area did not look good. Otherwise they were friendly when we spoke to them :)

This place is amazing!! The service is top notch, the rooms & amenities are so beautiful. Swim up bar with the perfect pool temp. Rooms have balconies or covered veranda area. Free bicycles & very-fast WiFi. Made to order breakfast included - I highly recommend their poached eggs & watermelon juice 😊

Lovely property and superb staff but the air con in the room was inefficient , the owners must have been aware of this as there were portable fans in the room. There was also no working TV in my room, staff tried their best but could not get it working. On the second day there was a power outage on the island so all the hotels had problems but the issues above were there from day one. Fix the air con and internet and this place would be perfect.

Stay here at your own risk!!! Before proceeding, I want to disclose that I initially requested the hotel manager for the contact details of the owner to address the issues privately or at least ensure that the problems I encountered would be resolved. However, the manager provided me with a random number that turned out to be non-functional when I attempted to call. It is evident that they do not want the owner to be aware of the challenges we faced during our stay. Now, let me begin by outlining the series of incidents: On the second-to-last day of our stay, a staff member entered our room while we were at the resort and stole $1000 NZD from my bag. We invested three hours reviewing the camera footage for that day, which revealed that this particular individual entered our room three times without any valid reason. During her first entry, I caught her rummaging through my bag, and she quickly walked away, feigning that she was there to clean the room (although she was not even a cleaner). When confronted, she attempted to justify her presence by delivering towels to our room, but I want to emphasize that I never requested any room cleaning or fresh towels. I must mention that my now fiancé informed the staff about his intention to propose to me at the resort. I strongly suspect that this same staff member was attempting to steal the engagement ring. While reviewing the camera footage, a male staff member made an appalling comment, expressing his willingness to physically harm the girl if I caught her in the reception area. This behavior is beyond unacceptable and deeply disturbing. Furthermore, the pool chlorine caused an extensive rash on my entire body, which still persists. If you have sensitive skin, I strongly advise against using the pool or, at the very least, conducting a skin test beforehand. Additionally, I want to highlight that we have video evidence documenting all of our interactions with the staff, and we have securely stored the footage for reference. These individuals have caused significant emotional distress and have even resulted in physical illness due to their treatment. They have completely ruined our holiday experience, and as a result, I have no intentions of ever returning to the Gili Islands. It is worth noting that the rest of the group I was with had a wonderful time, and it appears that my partner and I were specifically targeted. Based on the camera footage, it strongly suggests that this was an internal operation, as the staff members moved and communicated together, demonstrating a lack of empathy when we were departing. I sincerely hope that the owner becomes aware of this situation and reaches out to me. It is my earnest desire to engage in a conversation with them, as I seek resolution for these distressing events. I am aware that the staff and hotel manager are attempting to keep this matter concealed. I must note also, the hotel manager suggested I commit insurance fraud to try get my money back with o

The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and treated us like family, I would recommend to anyone wanting clean accommodation. Thank you, it’s a credit to you all.

Booked this hotel last minute while visiting Gili T and was not disappointed! The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, staff are super friendly and accomodating and the pool is a definate highlight! The staff at Coco Cabana were very helpful with planning activities such as snorkelling and scuba diving as well as transportation to and from the island. Highly recommend Coco Cabana!

Truly a pocket of paradise on the beautiful island of Gili T. We showed up ahead of check in time but were welcomed with a delicious welcome drink and cool towels (much appreciated in the heat)! We then came back later in the day and were beyond pleased with the gorgeous accommodation. All staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. It was spotless and service was fantastic - a special mention for Soel and his fantastic cocktail making and entertainment with games at the pool bar. We didn’t want to leave and already want to book a trip back to stay at this special place. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful villa with amazing staff and service. There are bikes available to hire and is a short 10 min bike ride to the main ***** on shops/bars. There is a restaurant on site and a beautiful on pool bar. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing stay.
