Laguna Gili

Wonderful location, friendly staff. Rooms are clean & close to the port (10 minute walk). Lovely nightlife and restaurants. Beautiful setting to enjoy the sunrise every morning.

Nice location for diving !!

The staff was attentive and personable. They remembered my name immediately and greeted me by name daily. I had issues with the bathroom and they moved me immediately. The rooms are beautiful, flower petals on your bed and sofa. Breakfast included was very good. Having a dive center at the resort was nice too! The beach is literally 30 ft from the resort w/ dining on the beach and lounge chairs/umbrellas.

The staff at Laguna Hotel Gili Trawangan have been extremely friendly, helpful and kind natured. We have been stuck on the island for 2 days because of storms out at sea and the fastboats operating between the Gili islands and Bali have not been sailing due to safety reasons, the staff have arranged for a speedboat to come collect us from the beach in front of the hotel to Bangsal Lombok so that we can get to Lombok airport in time for our flight from Bali. They also arranged a taxi to collect us at the harbour and take us to the airport. The rooms are extremely clean, really good aircon. The pool is nice and cool, actually cooler than the sea. I would like to make a special mention to Nara and Mong for their great support they have made our stay and fastboat dilemma much much easier. Many thanks Alisdair Scrase

I stayed here last back in 2013 and twice before that it was once a lovely place so clean it was run by a Italian man, he was the original owner who built the place. Well what can you say now . I know things date with time and things wear … But Let’s just say having the air conditioner constantly dripping on your head as you try to sleep . Then the broken toilet which i nearly fell off to the shower with its green slime on the bass , I showered with my thongs on so I didn’t catch anything . I remember back in the day the furniture specially the little chair that sat in the room was spectacular ,Oh my have a look at it now it’s something you just throw to the tip and the lamp which if you touched the shade fell off with wires hanging out . The paint in the Rooms was peeling and I was a little frightened that part of the roof above the shower might of fallen down . We also had above the bed a nice piece of cardboard jammed up in the roof obviously because the roof leaked , the outside sitting area by your room the cushions where dirty . No Effort at all to maybe give them a wipe . My partner has a good nose and was saying he could smell cat Urine I fobbed it off, but then I noticed near the bed dirty Cat paw prints on the wall going in and out the window So I’m thinking he was right . The breakfast as tasteless The pool uninviting with pool tiles broken in the pool exposed wires from where once a light was My recommendation is to NOT book at The Laguna I’ve stayed at many places in Asia and this would be one of the worst We cut our losses and checked out even telling them why and I don’t expect anything but they didn’t even really care
