Gili Khayangan Villas

Finally, I have time to write about the environment on the island of Gili, which is relatively primitive. Basically, the house is almost the same. The expensive room environment may be better, but the environment is the same. The location of this house is far from the beach of the pier but away from the other. While watching the beach at sunset, I like it very much. I don’t like this location. It’s very quiet at night. The price can also be cost-effective. The most surprising thing is that his family’s meal is delicious! It is better than the restaurant I eat at the pier! His family's prawns have been eaten out of stock! Particularly fragrant! Little friends who can't point can show pictures directly to them! The fried noodles and fried rice made at breakfast are also delicious! There is also a chicken porridge that is also very good to drink! There are three cute kittens in the yard. My children are going to torture the cat every morning. All the service staff are very patient and enthusiastic. I use the translation software to communicate with them. They have been typing for a long time. They are waiting for the attitude. it is good! I really like this Gili Island. I ride a bicycle every day to take a child to the pier to have fun. Then ride back to this quiet villa. Listen to the bells of the passing carriage. It is very fun. I hope to have a chance to come back again~

This was the most beautiful place to spend a few days with our family of 5 (kids aged 11, 13 and 17). The villa was absolutely magical but please be mindful that it is an open air villa and Gili T is very hot so it can be quite warm sitting in the open air spaces. The bedrooms are very well air conditioned and I loved the outdoor bathroom. We visited during Ramadan and I also loved hearing the Karan playing faintly in then distance from the local Mosque overnight. We hired bicycles from reception and explored the beautiful island. We hired snorkels for $2.50 each and snorkelled right off the beach (wearing reef shoes is a MUST) and saw a huge variety of brightly coloured fish. I loved the included breakfast where fresh fruit and breads were served with fresh juice and then you can choose an item from the breakfast menu. We also ate lunch and dinner here which were lovely. We arrived at the island unwell for our last stop and the staff could not have been more accommodating in sending smoothies and coconut water to our room. Arranging a doctor late at night for my son and Keeping an eye on my 17 year old daughter who loved the freedom of riding around on the bicycle while we were sick. The view from our villa (number 3) to the beach was amazing. I would love to return perhaps without the younger kids as they found it very hot and didn’t enjoy it as much. We noted that there were very few Australians at the resort with most of the other guests being European which also made this feel more like a real holiday!!! I want to reinforce that the staff at Gili Eco Villa’s were outstanding and couldn’t have done more to make our stay as memorable as it was.

One of the best hotels we’ve been to! We we’re very well received, and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was really good and so was the overall menu. The rooms we’re amazing, really big and spacious and we really enjoyed the outdoor bathrooms. Location was good, far from the busy and crowded center area but close enough by bike (10-15min), and you can rent them there. Rentals and bookings are a bit more pricey at the hotel, but definitely reliable and guaranteed! Swimming pool was great, and points for the front beach view! The owner of the hotel was also really friendly and helpful. Overall really good, and we can’t wait to go back!

Really super place. Stayed for three weeks so enough to have a view I think! Positives - 1. An oasis. Full of greenery, lovely plants and flowers. 2. Your own swimming plunge pool. All to yourself (it’s all in shade throughout the day). 3. Big room. Huge bed. Two air conditioners if you need to go super double cold. Outdoor kitchen, wonderful idea. Limited equipment, very dusty from the street and full of ants if you’re not hygienic with spreading crumbs, but it serves the purpose if you want to have some take away food or a snack. It also has a fridge with a freezer. 4. Twin bathroom sinks (with mirrors set at a male chest hight, this is an Indonesian thing I’ve discovered). Shower warms up for a long while but nobody cares in this hot climate. 5. Chaps running the place very friendly, and helpful. Was given WhatsApp number and anything needed was sorted straight away. For example cleaning the pool or wiping the floor after spillage. 6. Daily cleaning service was a godsend. The beds always done and everything cleaned (bear in mind that they use anti bug spray and it is advisable to wait for a while before entering the villa so calculate this into your plan especially when having kids wanting a nap during the day). 7. Bike hire at best rate on island. The other one - 1. Pillows as thick as an elephant meaning neck at 90 degree angle to body. 2. Island is very dusty so a layer of dust forms everywhere. Not the fault of this place mind, just a note. 3. Everything a little dated and lacking love or maybe a woman’s touch.
