I enjoyed my stay in juhachiro. The river view is amazing. I like the food alot too. Highly recommend anyone that wants to stay in a ryokan in gifu

Excellent hospitality from the hotel staff. The room is clean and feels newly renovated. Location is right next to the Cormorant Fishing Observation Boat Waiting Area. And there are couples of restaurants nearby.

Location is next to River Nagara where comorant fishing tour was held and within walking distance to Gifu Castle and the great Buddha of Gifu. Breakfast is good with many choices.

We opted for the standard Japanese style room with experience sleeping on the futons which was an experience. Onsen facilities were great and offered certain degree of privacy during winter season. Not much of the Nagawagara river view given its winter
