Have stayed here before and was equally pleased the second time. Super clean, friendly, nice breakfast, and comfortable. Highly recommend you adding this to your itinerary! Loved the location with rental boats, tour boats, or foot path readily available. Was able to cook our own dinner in a well equipped kitchen area. There is also seating outside and easy parking on the premises. Will definitely be back. Thank you for your great hospitality!!

Great place if you're looking for a simple night in the center of giethoorn. We had a comfortable sleep there, everything was clean and hosts were really nice (helping to prepare breakfast and very open to discuss and give good advices for our trip).

Le black sheep hotel est très bien situé à Giethoorn, et dispose d'un jardin avec de nombreux points d'agrément (jeux pour les enfants, hamacs, fauteuils) très agréables en été. A proximité immédiate, on peut trouver locations de bateaux et de canoës. L'accueil est discret et cordial. La chambre est tout à fait correcte, il faut cependant noter que salle de douche et toilettes ne sont pas situés dans la chambre mais en dehors (ce qui peut être un souci quand on est enceinte et qu'on fait pipi trois fois par nuit !). Ces derniers sont censés être privatifs, mais nous avons trouvé une touriste asiatique dans notre douche (peut-être égarée...) La cuisine partagée (et les équipements - frigo, plaques, vaisselle, four - mis à disposition) permet de préparer son repas et de bons moments avec des voyageurs de partout dans le monde. Le petit déjeuner est en self-service et compris dans le prix de la chambre. Seul bémol, le prix de la chambre (250 euros pour 6 voyageurs) qui nous a paru un tantinet élevé au vu des prestations, mais c'est sans doute le prix à payer pour séjourner en haute saison au village des stroumphs !
