Stayed here for a week, on the whole a nice stay. Positives - Staff & Service excellent, lovely pool area with pool bar that serves good but basic bar food, rooms good, clean & tidy.. ours had a large balcony, good supermarket 7mins walk away Not so good - Place is only couple of miles from the main town area but taxis are expensive, 15euros anywhere in the town, alot for a 2 mile journey. Be prepared for coach loads of teenagers staying here on school trips - the restaurant on site is geared towards them, providing 'school dinner' style buffet only. As long as you are ok with the 2 not so goods, I would recommend a stay here & once again thank the staff, as they were excellent throughout our stay.

This place is well located and had a nice laid back vibe with a nice sized pool and a bar too. We had one of their self-catering lodges which was clean and well-sized, however it was lacking a number of basic things like a bottle opener, cutting board, cutting knife, deep bowls for cereal etc. and a small saucepan. The receptionist was extremely lovely, he was very friendly. All in all, very basic, but reasonably priced and it was nice having the pool to use given it was so hot!

This is a beautiful hotel complex, the rooms are very clean also cleaned daily, within the rooms is a balcony with the stunning view of mount etna. The staff at the reception are very welcoming and extremely helpful. The pool area is stunning lemon trees and palm trees surrounding the pool and plenty of sun loungers with views of mount etna! The local supermarket is only a short walk away, there is also a local beach approx 8 minute walk and another beach further out approx 30min walk. Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and will definitely be coming back! We would recommend this hotel to everybody

I would like to point out the very high attention to the customer even after the stay. My son had forgotten a sweatshirt in his room and they had it delivered to my home in the province of Milan. They didn't have to do that. Really very attentive and kind.

The Alkantara village is the ideal place to spend a few days of serenity with the family, the services are all more than excellent from cooking to cleaning, a special praise for the truly friendly staff.

I would like to review this village positively, I found a very clean and relaxing environment, just what my partner and I were looking for. We had fun playing padel and swimming in the pool with an excellent spritz to keep us company.

Very nice place and always friendly staff, we were on holiday with the family and I must say that in addition to the delicious food we found a pleasant and welcoming environment! The children had a lot of fun with the entertainment while we adults relaxed by the pool.

Quiet place, the month we were there was probably the best, away from the chaos but at the same time well connected to the beauty of the surroundings, if you're by car it's ideal. Really friendly and helpful staff. Top swimming pool!

Peace of mind...we stayed in the first days of September, the Village is very quiet and the swimming pool is splendid, an oasis of serenity. All the friendly staff are always ready to give good advice on places to visit because the Village is located close to many beautiful locations. The artisan ice creams in the bar are excellent. I recommend it
