Hellenia Yachting Hotel & Spa

A stylish hotel, in a fabulous location! We could see Mt Etna from this gorgeous hotel. Parking was free. From the time we arrived until the time we left, we could not fault it. I highly recommend this really beautiful hotel.

The hotel decor and the Italian charm is there to be seen. The reception staff were polite and welcoming.We stayed on the 4th floor facing the pool and the sea. I would have rated it 5 but balcony furniture needs renewing. The outside area needs some TLC. Take water shoes as the beach is pebbly. The hotel guests are a mix of nationalities which was great. The breakfast was what you would expect when being away and it was fine, mixture of different croissants, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, selection of meats and cheeses, yogurts. Giardini Naxos is a lovely place. It’s about 15min walk into the harbour where there are lots of places to eat. But it you don’t want to walk far, outside the hotel there are a good selection of restaurants to choose from. Not sure why people knock this hotel and the staff as we have found everything and everyone great.

Wow what a way to start a vacation! This hotel is nestled in the seaside town of Naxos, near Taurmina, Sicily a very laid back, sweet town tht has obviously been a tourist hot spot. The hotel is literally on the water, with a private beach and swimming pool, in the shadow of Mount Etna. Absolutely stunningly clear waters, breezy sunshine and a very luxurious vibe. Our room had a view of the beach and the many calm, happy visitors staying there. A bar facing the pool, a grand entry space with 5 staff to assist with questions. Mornings come with a free breakfast spread. You name it its there - eggs, sausages, croissants, tarts, pastries ( all delicious) juices, cereals, coffee, fresh and cut fruit, and lovely view of the water. On a lazy little street with a few tourist shops, nice little restaurants offering Lemoncello Spritz, and all shops boasting lemons, lemons, lemons. Theres a bus stop about 2 blocks away to catch a ride into Tauromina - definitely worth seeing, and offering jump on, jump off buses to see the sites. Tauromina is loaded with shops and gelato spots and pizzeria places, and in Naxos ( about a mile walk away) there are restaurants offering fish dishes, gelato and views of the water. really exceptional hotel - the pool is wonderful, the beach is wonderful, and a lovely place to slide into contentment.

Location was great right on the beach, recommend a massage on the beach, pool area also great, breakfast was fine, reception staff the most miserable I’ve encountered, half the time couldn’t be bothered to look up, this is the nosiest hotel I’ve stayed up mainly due to the door system needs a good push to open so you can hear this on all levels, marble floors when everyone is checking in and out and for some reason the people above scraped furniture across the floor, we booked through EasyJet holidays, shame as it has great potential

We stayed here for 3 days as part of a bus tour. The place is very well located. It is right on the beach, centrally located to visit area attractions and there are good restaurants within walking distance as well as a small grocery store almost across the street. The rooms are very nice, some with a large balcony. The view is good from any room, either the water side or looking up at Mount Etna. We were lucky enough to witness Etna erupt on a clear night from our balcony.
