Really nice staff, clean hostel, best location Really really nice highly recommend

I can't recommend this hostel enough. I only stayed there one night and wished I could stay longer. Just a few reasons why I love it so much: - the building is gorgeous, it is excellent value for money, the digital key works perfectly, the bathrooms/showers are modern and lovely, the staff are kind and helpful, the luggage storage lockers work well, the hot drinks are very cheap and nice, the views are excellent, the in-room lockers work well, there are vending machines for small things/snacks you might need.. There are free walking tours starting outside... I wouldn't say the beds are amazingly comfortable but as comfortable as you can expect in an ordinary hostel. I could write more but I think I gave an impression of why this place is ideal for a short stay in Ghent. I just need an excuse to go back now :)

Only a 1 night stay but was very pleasant. The dorm rooms had an amazing view of Ghent. The way the key card operates with your mobile phone was interesting and definitely a good use of technology. Check in staff were very nice. During summer could do with some air con as there were only fans to cool the room.

Good location. Clean toilets and showers. Good, i think heating is only on during breakfast. Breakfast does not worth the money, poor variety. Could be better if beds have a curtain ando bedrooms were heated. Anyway, i probably repeat if I go to Ghent again.

I had a very bad experience with this hostel, I arrived and it was imediately clear that they are not focused at all on having a clean space. They gave me sheets to make my own bed and the sheets had stains on them, as well as the covers in the bedroom, which did not seem clean at all. The location is excellent but minimum requirements in terms of cleaning are not met. Furthermore, there is at least one floor with no bathroom, which means you need to change floors if you ever want to go to the toilet. I do not recommend it at all. I ended up checking out on the same day of check in and went to another place (basically, paid twice for accomodation). When I explained the situation and asked for a refund I received a reply stating that they stand by the quality of their product, which is a bit shocking considering I sent a photo of the dirty sheets and did not even receive an apology.
