We spent one night in a chalet in the Tautona Lodge in October. The complex is generally well laid out but you get the impression that nothing has been done here for a long time. Much of it looks worn and run down. What has been repaired seemed to me to be made-to-order and improvised. Unfortunately there were no mosquito nets in our chalet. (It's a shame, there are mosquitoes). The chalet also gives us the impression that it needs a renovation, which is also evident in the showers and the overall hygiene of the chalets (it can be done differently, we have seen better in other lodges). The food was OK overall, but a lot of the menu was not available. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, but some seemed a little unmotivated. Personally, I would avoid this lodge after this experience. Unfortunately there are hardly any alternatives in the Ghanzi area and the route to Maun is extremely long.
