Very quite location but only a 5-10 minute stroll into town. Hotel was superb, extremely clean. The hotel room itself was big enough, we even had a sea and vineyard view 😊 but what can I say about the bed, it was massive and so comfortable, best nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of things to choose from. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend the wine tour.

Excellent rooms comfortable beds quite air conditioning, fabulous location with easy access to the town. Wine tour available which we took and was very interesting. Good buffet breakfast plenty of choice.

My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay here for 2 days. The hotel is literally right on the Camino Norte (even if you aren't interested in the Camino the walk along the ridge and along the coast is breathtaking for a very easy walk). The town of Getaria is really cute with lots of shops, history and good food and drinks of course. The hotel was very nice, and breakfast was good. But the people there make the difference. From the super fun wine tasting (you have to try their excellent unique wines here) at the hotel, to just overall helpful and fun folks working here that are really passionate about their winery, makes this a really unique experience. And I bet in the summer it would be even better with everyone in the ocean at the beach and surfing. Really excellent experience

Maravillosa estancia en el Hotel Gaintza. Ubicado a las afueras del centro en plena naturaleza, rodeado de viñedos y campo, pero a su vez cercano al centro en unos 10-12 minutos. Estupendo desayuno casero con un gran zumo recién exprimido. Habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. Personal encantador y atento. Para recomendar totalmente.

Un peu sur les hauteurs de Getaria, l'hôtel avec parking gratuit permet de passer un agréable séjour au calme. Peu de chambre, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous. Personnel très agréable, très gentil dans une ambiance familiale appréciable. Petit déjeuner simple, mais copieux, du sucré, du salé, il y en a pour tous les gouts.

Cuando ninguna cosa destaca porque en todas se aprecia el trabajo, la dedicación y el cariño. Y junto a la sencillez resulta un impresionante y lujoso resultado muy difícil de conseguir. Volveremos porque pinta que han encontrado un camino al que no merece abandonar

Bien situé dans les vignobles sur les hauteurs de Getaria (un très beau village de pêcheurs où on mange très bien) - l'accès aux plages ainsi qu'au centre est facile - un ascenceur urbain original aide à remonter jusqu'à l'hôtel - les chambres sont propres et confortables, l'accueil irréprochable. Bon petit-déjeuner. Parking sûr et gratuit.

Excelente alojamiento para descansar en un lugar tranquilo rodeado de viñedos , mar y montañas. Tanto la habitación como el desayuno muy bien. El trato de su personal.... muy amable y gentil....GRACIAS La visita a la bodega que tienen es interesante, para conocer la elaboración de un vino tan peculiar. El alojamiento esta enclavado a las afueras de Getaria, pero gracias a unas escaleras mecánicas y un ascensor su acceso a pie se hace mas agradable. En cuanto a Getaria... no puedo decir mucho, pueblo pequeño con una oferta gastronómica, que en días laborables se reduce mucho. El Museo Balenciaga merece una visita. Lo interesante es que el transporte a otros pueblos (Zarauz, Zumaia, San Sebastián) se hace muy comodo y barato ya que hay transporte publico que los comunica con mucha frecuencia, sin necesidad de coger el coche con el problema del aparcamiento.
