Not a 5 star hotel. The bad points first: the selection of food wasn’t great or hot, the snacks round by the pool were poor, some staff seemed moody, local beach a let down and no tea/coffee in room. Good points: beautiful view and room was lovely and lots of sunbeds. Would not recommend.

First of all, a huge thank you to all the staff at this amazing hotel! It may not be 5* as advertised but it is still fantastic. Every single member of staff, made us feel welcomed and part of the family. The rooms are very clean, tidy and cleaned everyday and the maids are so friendly and helpful. Towels changed all the time and toiletries and toilet replenished without having to ask. Smart TV in the room too along with tea and coffee making facilities. There are also bath robes and iron and ironing board in the rooms. The food was really good for all inclusive. There was variety each day and always something that kids can eat and always fries available. There was chef at the grill each mealtime preparing fresh meats and pancakes etc. The food is alot of pork or chicken but there is also fish options too which I couldn't eat due to allergies but other said the seafood salad was delicious. There was always a good choice of different desserts and again always ice-cream which the children seemed to enjoy. It was amazing to sit on a glass balcony and take in the amazing sunset and views whilst having your meals. Throughout the day there are burgers and chips and chicken nuggets along with a selection of sandwiches available in the pool bar. I had a back massage through the week which was amazing and the masseur was very professional and very good and such a relaxing atmosphere. There is no lack of sunbeds and it was great not seeing people racing to put towels on beds. The pools are cold due to time of year but are lovely to cool down on a hot day. There is entertainment on each night which was always great from Greek music and dancers to magicians and a clown. A big shout out to Vasilis, Fred, Alexander and the other guy who who serves drinks throughout the night, they were so upbeat and happy the whole time and could not do enough for you. Finally, the lovely ladies on reception. Who welcomed us like two mothers who hadn't seen their sons in 10 years and checked us out of the hotel with a hug and kiss, you are both so lovely and credit to the hotel nothing was an issue and as soon as any issues arose (only A/C going off once) you got it sorted straight away. We will be back and I know everyone we spoke to in the hotel were praising the hotel! Efcharisto! Michael and David

There are some really good things about this hotel. Firstly the location makes it a beautiful and relaxing setting. The hotel itself is clean and spacious with plenty of comfortable sunbeds, rooms also are a nice size with ample balcony room and maid service daily. I also liked the snacks on offer in the pool bar each day as well as the atmosphere in the restaurant area where you can sit in or outside. Oh and the free shuttle bus into Bali is also a good perk! All staff were friendly and helpful also. Agree with other reviews that this place isn’t a five star although we still feel we got value for money. The only downsides for me were that the bar service could be inconsistent sometimes - an example is that one day we were able to get bloody Mary’s and the next we were told these were not available until later. And the water! You have to rely on taking cups of water from the cooler in the bar or restaurant as bottles are not supplied in rooms or behind the bar - a basic for an all inclusive in hot weather! In the end we were buying it from the shop every day! Finally whilst food was fine there were no traditional dishes on offer so all felt a bit repetitive. Only other thing to be mindful of (and this is not the fault of the hotel) but transfer time can be very long as Fillion often the very last stop on the bus. For us it was 2.5 hours on arrival and 3.5 hours on departure!! The hotel could offer pick ups from the airport at competitive prices maybe? All in all though it was a nice little break.

Have to say this wasn’t the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Food was mediocre and hardly warm. Cleaners weren’t in a hurry to replace toilet essentials or towels in our room. Had the same sheets all week. Had to call reception several times to get the basic items brought up to our suite/room! No one mentioned that you have to pay €10 a night in government taxes either. This was requested by reception staff when you booked in. The sun beds were plentiful and very comfortable. There are plenty of steps so you should get your 10000 steps in with ease! On the upside the reception, waiting and bar staff were all exceptional and very friendly and helpful. But we won’t be back. Part of your holiday is to try different foods, but they fell very short of my expectations of good quality food.

We visited the hotel , and we hired a car for the whole time. We visited Chania city , Rethymnon town and the Matala beach in the south. The resort is excellent , the staff amazing and the pools very spacious although this time of year the water is a bit cold.

Firstly the hotel offers good value for money but I do not know how it is classed as five star? The suites are a good size and we had a large balcony to enjoy the view. The atmosphere is good but it was very early on in the season - I think it would be a very different matter in the Summer. This is a good time to go on a diet as the food is very poor. The drinks are also poorly made and served .We went to the local shop and bought our own drinks as the beer is very weak. In the evening the older bar man does not seem to know anything about serving drinks and the service is slow. It is the only hotel I have ever visited in Europe when they have never asked for my passport but immediately took the tourist tax. Maintenance around the hotel is poor and you rarely see staff doing any work to improve the environment. Overall though if you want a short break that does not cost a lot to enjoy the sunshine it is worth going to lose weight !

I’d just like to start by saying as you can see from all my other reviews I am usually very positive. However this is nowhere near a 5* hotel, 3* max Pros: - The reception staff (especially the saint of a woman in charge) - that same woman kindly let us move rooms to a marginally better one - the lovely waiter costas -the food was ok most nights, just not 5* worthy… Cons: - The AWFUL hotel manager, when we complained there was no water for two evenings (therefore no showers or teeth brushing after travelling and being in 30+ degrees heat) we were told by him “there are real problems in the world like Paris riots”. He also said passive- aggressive comments to me and rolled his eyes the next day when I came to the lobby to ask for the bus schedule… - The wait for the bus (car which fits 8 at a time) - The fact that TWO different people walked in on me undressed when I was having a massage because there were no signs to say treatment in progress - The queue for the bar - The measly snack options - The disgusting murky pool with a line of green dirt along the edges - The stained furniture in the room.. - The broken glass on the restaurant floor All in all a waste of money, stranded in the mountains.
