Filion Suites Resort & Spa

The hotel is in the sticks abit however the views are magnificent. The hotel puts on a minibus to take guests to mythos beach. Food was ok, drinks really good. We had a room at the bottom of the hill of the hotel which was a trek but can't grumble. Try get a room nearer the pool bar. No evening snacks but shop onsite will be open. All in all good place but not a 5star so lower expectations are required. I would return.

Definitely not a five star establishment. The rooms are shabby and not cleaned properly [there were cobwebs running all along the skirting boards next to the sofa bed] and the bathrooms extremely dated with the shower head not working properly and water leaking out of the shower screen onto the floor. The food is nothing more okay with not all food items labelled [fine if you have no allergies and are prepared to gamble] nor warm. Eating cold scrambled egg and beans is not my idea of a five star breakfast! Some of the staff are great, while many look like they don't want to work there and are blatantly rude. It wouldn't hurt to smile sometimes and at least greet guests with a simple hello. Overall, it is a quiet and relaxing environment, but it is certainly not a five star hotel which offers any sort of wow factor. Something to be aware of if you are using Suntransfers for your transfer - my two daughters and I were dropped off at The Bali Mare Hotel at 2am with no explanation of what was going on. When I phoned Suntransfers to complain and to say that I expected to be dropped off at Filion Suites, I was told to either book a private taxi or to walk the circa 2km! After several complaining phone calls, we were eventually collected at 3am by a minibus belonging to Filion Suites. This was not a great start to what was nothing more than an okay holiday.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel, which is located in a stunning area surrounded by picturesque scenery. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. Regina at the reception was particularly wonderful; nothing was too much trouble for her. Overall, it was a fantastic and relaxing holiday, perfect for couples seeking a quieter getaway.

While there were some minor things that would lead me to say this is not a fully five star resort, the hotel was an absolutely perfect location to relax and unwind - we’ve come back so refreshed from our stay here. The staff are all very friendly, accommodating and helpful - big shout outs to Joseph, Regina, Dionysus, Sofia, Maria, Alex and Antonia! The food was varied - plenty of choice from salads, cooked meats and seafood (I’d particularly recommend the cheese selection!) - and the menu changes every day and throughout the 13 nights we stayed. The views from the hotel were great. I would suggest hiring a car to get around (we found that much easier than using any other transport, including the hotel minibus). The hotel is a bit of a way outside Bali. I would definitely recommend!

Really nice hotel great food and great staff. The hotel provides multiple pools with nice new sunbeds and umbrellas and luxury gazebos. The views are amazing and the cleanliness around and everywhere is really perfect.

Myself and 5 friends came to the filion for 7 days, it’s in a great location, the staff are very friendly, the food was good, drinks were good also. There was entertainment in the evenings, the rooms were nice and cleaners came to service every morning. 3 Pools meant there was never a pool too busy. Tennis and other leisure activities also available. Regina, Sofia, Maria, Alex, Antonia and dionysis were all great and made the stay very enjoyable for us, would recommend here to almost any group of people due to the variety of activities offered
