Bali Beach and Sofia Village

The hotel Aparthotel Sofia Mythos Beach is Horrible. The dinner is almost the same every day, it is completely tasteless, no nutrition in the food, very oily & fatty. The food runs out before all the guests have had time to eat. The wine is obviously mixed with a lot of water. At the dining tables, it is crowded with wild cats that have scabies & skin diseases that jump up on the tables & take food directly from the guests' plates when you sit & eat. It is a direct Sanitary Nuisance! Plates, cutlery & glasses are dirty. Disgusting! The breakfast is cheap & has no variety. The coffee is very mixed with water. Loud traffic noise right where you sit & eat, very unrelaxing. The staff who work there are very unprofessional, they talk badly about the guests behind their backs. The so-called "Manager" is an aggressive & violent person who physically attacked us & started fighting when we wanted to check out of the hotel earlier than planned because we were dissatisfied. He also shouted insults at us. Totally unacceptable behavior! Rooms are dirty & worn, bathrooms smell like mold, WiFi does not work in the rooms & TV does not work. All the time there is loud bangs & noises in the hotel even at night so there will be no good sleep. The cleaning ladies pour out buckets of dirty cleaning water right outside the door that flows into the rooms. This hotel is not recommended for children or the elderly as there are very steep slopes & stairs everywhere. There are also no sidewalks anywhere. The pool is clearly dirty. If you want a pleasant stay, do NOT choose Aparthotel Sofia Mythos Beach in Crete.

The restaurant..is very very basic,more like a hostel.. its filthy dirty, not day to day dirt but long term grime..the food is only lukewarm even if you go as soon as the buffet is open. Tables are not cleared a way very quickly and if you are lucky to have the table wiped down, the cloth used is filthy dirty. The rooms are very basic and frankly depressing ..the view of the mountains and sea kept us going. Sheets barely covered the old mattresses in the twin beds. Bathroom dirty. Please do not book here ..manager doesn't care..staff low morale .. you'll see no feedback from manager on the comments. Vile place ..it could be amazing ..such a shame

Very nice loction, food is tasty, stuff is very welcoming . Beaches has very clear water suite for swimming . The Cretan hospitaly was amazing and we had a really good time . We stayed at the upper building with steps with pool view. It was clean and good for 3 star hotel.😉

This hotel has 2 listings on TripAdvisor but they are the same hotel and should have the same rating. Anyway the hotel is in a great location, rooms are basic but I could accept the room if everything else was ok. Unfortunately it was'nt, Food was poor, always cold and desserts were almost non existent unless you love watermelon which was served every day. Forget getting a sun lounger in a good position around the pool, as towels are left on from the previous day. So the same people have their lounger all week. Come on hotel management, clear the loungers every night to give everyone a chance. Another mild annoyance was seeing hotel staff, sat with paying guests having their own breakfast every morning. I believe staff should not be dining with guests. Bedding was not completely changed all week, the bottom sheet was never changed, as the same stain on the sheet was there all week. I have already commented on their other listing about the "family room". The extra room, which fortunately we didn't need would not be allowed in UK. No windows, no ventilation if connecting door is closed and 2 mismatched single beds.

Fantastic amily trip to Bali In Crete. We had for a week in 3 village family rooms , the views were spectacular the cleaning really good and the pools very spacious. All the staff are nice and helpful. We suggest the hotel.

I hate doing this to be honest 😒 , but what is fair to say I was disappointed by this company. I will be blunt , dirty rooms , mouldy , unfriendly staff, cheap food , but tasty. All inclusive bar is a bad joke , barkeep is behaving like I own him money. The view however saved our holiday.
