It was my first time staying in a Japanese-style room, so it felt awkward, but it was a new experience and it was refreshing and good. But it's not easy to get used to the cold... I think I need to have more experience with Japanese-style rooms to be able to adapt to them. The hot springs were so nice. The water, temperature, and location were all great. When I booked the room, it was not expensive and I thought the room was small, but the French room behind the kitchen was not small. The dinner style is very exquisite and great value for money. The breakfast buffet is very diverse. High chance to stay again.

A very nice hot spring hotel. The Japanese food is very good. As soon as you arrive in Gero, there is a car to pick you up from the hotel. The hotel is very big. You can accidentally leave the hot spring bath without knowing where it is, but the signs are very clear. Good value for money hotel.

Room and Onsen is good, dinner is ok, very near to the train station.

The hotel has multiple buildings, but the staff explained the directions of the accommodation, restaurants and hot springs in detail.

1.The price was high. 2.The food was tasteless. 3. The facility is old, the equipment and interior of the room are quite old, the toilet leaked, and water flowed onto the toilet floor. 4. The assigned room is a bit old, and you can clearly hear the wind blowing outside at night. The scenery is nothing to say...it's not far from the train station and the shuttle bus is quite convenient.

There was air leakage in the room, the air conditioner was very loud, and my throat hurt from the cold. The corridor is so cold. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Japan.

The room was small but clean. The hot spring water is very good and spacious and comfortable. I went 4 times during my one night stay. There was also a convenience store and izakaya nearby, so there was no inconvenience.

I booked a non-smoking room on Trip.com, but the hostel said I was given a smoking room, so I was initially assigned a room that smelled like cigarettes. I showed my reservation to the staff and they changed it to a non-smoking room, but I was embarrassed. I think this is Trip.com’s fault. I was assigned a riverside view room and the view was nice. The room is spacious and comfortable. But the facilities are a bit old. And it's a shame that I couldn't use the humidifier because there was a lot of mold in it. Baekmyotang open-air hot spring was nice. The evening kaiseki set meal was also good for the price.
