It’s a small Onsen with few rooms but that made our stay more relaxing and comfortable. Attentive services with an eagerness to explain everything to you despite the language barrier. The outdoor private Onsen was a plus that we enjoyed very much. The downside was the aged room and toilet we got. However, this was compensated by the food that was absolutely fantastic and unsuspectly filling 😋

Onsen hotel offering excellent service, superb food and privacy.
Service was next to nothing, staff offered Salmon sushi and malt tea at no extra cost as I choosed to skip breakfast to catch up with early bus schedule. The room was very clean and quite spacious.
Dinner and breakfast was in Kaiseki style. The food was excellent, particularly the sashimi and the Hida beef (both grilled and sukiyaki).The use of local ingredients added to the uniqueness of the experience.
The onsen was not big but cozy. Considering the hotel has about 20 rooms only, it offer very good privacy and I enjoyed the public bath twice alone in my 2 days stay. Rental private bath was a good surprise and worth to try if you are traveling in pair.
Location is a bit far from train and bus station up on the top of the hill, but the the pickup service and a nice view of the mountain compensated for that.

This is a 50-year-old hotel with very considerate service, elegant environment, clean and sanitary. There are many kinds of dinner dishes, but it is too suitable for my Sichuan stomach.

A quiet and very satisfying accommodation. It was a very satisfying day at a ryokan where I felt that a ryokan is a healing space. The open-air bath where snow fell lightly was truly an unforgettable memory.

The hotel has few rooms, but it is very clean, tidy and warm. The food is Japanese style and the ingredients are very fresh. The indoor and outdoor hot springs are on two different floors, which is not very convenient. The service is very good. When checking in, they will introduce the hotel facilities and some precautions for check-in. Every service staff is very enthusiastic. Alipay and UnionPay cards are not accepted for payment at check-out, and it is not very convenient to use cash.

Good service, advanced and complete equipment
When you checked in, a housekeeper was arranged to follow up with your needs
Futon beds are more comfortable than other onsen ryokans
Kaiseki all food is beautifully designed
There are eleven dishes including A5 Hida Beef
The open-air bath is very clean, it's really comfortable to soak in the hot spring while looking at the mountain view
