Escape the craziness of life in this new construction, Beach Lake cottage. Wake up and have coffee with a beautiful view of the water and only minutes from Castle Rock Lake. Outside of Prime Season it is just a 2 night minimum except during holidays ***Note: Most outside water items are stored from Mid Sept aka (Bouncey)/SUPs/Toys Etc to Mid-May each year*** ***We have a tons of life jackets there, contact owner before arriving*** Winter Stay is below Summer ***Hot Tub added October of 2023. Only Fall/Winter/Spring Use*** Please read full description.... Summer Stay: Welcome to Beach Lake Cottage! We love it here! We love summer's at the cottage. Enjoy our sandy beach while watching the kids play for hours on end. For water toys, we have the following: 4-youth kayaks, 2-paddle board SUP and a 4 person paddle boat, (2) Teen/Adult Kayaks with new comfy seats, and misc. floaties and toys for the kids. A new bouncy the kids will love! An outdoor shower to wash off all the sand too. For beach games we have Corn Hole boards, Spike Ball, and Beersbee (plus more games) you will have a blast if you decide to just hangout at Beach! Then at night bring out our firepit for smores and look up at millions of stars at night. Firewood is provided of course. Or use the propane fire-patio table on the main deck for late night chats. The kids can fish with the poles in our cottage, they just restocked the lake with Blue Gill and Perch (catch and release). For those rainy or cold days, we have TONS of board/dice games plus a Xbox Kinect and plenty of games for the kids to play or adults. Foosball Table. Also Legos and a ton of crafts for the littles, located in the 2nd guest bed upstairs. Misc toys too in the kids room. And of course adult games! Found under the dinette table or in the guest bed upstairs. Dogs are allowed for an additional fee ($150) for cleaning, one dog max. All LG appliances with gas cook top, not ceramic. New 14 Cup coffee maker and Keurig 10 Oz option, then enjoy the coffee supplied or K-Pod, or bring your own. Super Hi-Speed internet and streaming in all rooms. Also added an Airfryer to cook up bacon or chicken nuggets quick and no mess! Our cottage has one King, 2-Queen, and the Bunk Beds sleep 6 (Full over Full over Full Trundle), Sleeper Couch and extra full mattress stored. The house can sleep six adults comfortably, the new full bunk beds allow for up to six kids. We have a very large living room and basement with multiple tables for kids and family to gather. The extra mattress and couch topper would allow more guests too. Max 12 people, can not go over. Room Darkening Shades in all bedrooms. Newly installed LEVEL 2-for faster charging: F240V 50A NEMA 14-50 outlet inside garage. Use our supplied workersbee charger, see pic, for free charging during your stay. Garage is also insulated and heated. For grilling, you can either use the large Weber grill with supplied charcoal or for those BBQ fans, use our smoker with pellets provided. Our Beach Cottage is located right down the road from Castle Rock Lake — close to the Dirty Turtle Bar & Marina, Pine Cove (best smash burgers), Shipwreck and area beaches, lakeside restaurants, with excellent boating on Castle Rock. We launch our boat right down the street or you can launch at the Dirty Turtle. Bring your poles because there is excellent fishing on Castle Rock, Walleye abound. There is also an excellent walking path (about a 1.5 miles) right along the river leading out to Castle Rock that we can help you get to, perfect for a family hike! Nearby attractions include championship golf courses like Sand Valley and Northern Bay Resort with its replica courses, and for a quick golf trip you are less than 10 min from Castle Rock Course. Explore Buckhorn state park that hosts the largest Wildlife refuge: https://www.fws.gov/refuge/necedah/. Elroy Bike Trail can be accessed from Camp Douglas 15 min away on the Omaha bike trail or drive right to Elroy. Plenty of canoeing / kayaking on the Wisconsin and Lemonwier Rivers, All this, and only 30 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells experience! Relaxation or exhilarating activities await. Just over 2 Hours from Milwaukee, and 3 to 3-1/2 hours from Chicago. The house does have security cameras looking outside. **This is also our home, please be mindful. We use the cottage half the time so the dressers, some cabinets, and closets are in use by the homeowners. Luggage racks provided in each room** For food, you should have plenty of room inside our refrigerator 27 Cubic Ft and freezer space, coolers are recommended for larger groups. We also have a chest freezer that has room that should be able to store your ice too. The outside garage might have room but we keep our items in there. Plenty of counter space to put your food but we have two shelves open at all times for storing items. Please pack accordingly and reach out with any questions. Clothes-We have added luggage racks to help plus dressers **Cleaning fee is bulit into rates *** Excessive cleaning will be assessed and charge if needed*** **Dogs are allowed for a fee, one dog maximum, and we have a dog that does sometimes stay with us, please be aware with allergies** **Swim towels are supplied by renter** **We pride ourselves on a sanitized and clean environment for you and your family. The cleaning company we use, uses both scented detergent and scented dryer sheets. If you have any allergies, please keep this in mind. You are more than welcome to bring your own towels and sheets (and detergent)** *Owners do use the cottage during the year, extra dressers are added for your stay* Winters at Beach Cottage are great. I try to plow the ice when we stay so you can use the ice skates (many adult and kids sizes) but feel free to use the shovels in the garage to clear a path too. I will check the thickness of the ice as winter progresses and will update any stays upcoming once I know it is safe. We like to bring our fire pit down to the lake and have the kids skate. The hill is excellent for sledding down and have sleds plus a strap in snow board for the kiddos. Warm up to the fire place and hot coco provided for the Keurig. Buckhorn also offers free snow shoe rentals so enjoy the peace of the winter trails. Or we are right off Snowmobile trails too.
