Our stay at Coveside Inn could not have been better. The room, the communications, the comfort and quiet setting, the VIEW! Bob is a wonderful host! He cooked us the best breakfasts we've had in a very, very long time. He also provided some great suggestions for activities, and was a pleasure to chat with. We'll be back. There is no doubt.

My husband and I have been coming here yearly since 2021. It's the perfect quiet getaway in mid coast maine. The rooms are so cozy and the views are spectacular! Bob serves breakfasts so large that we usually skip lunch. I love spending time in the gardens or by the water birdwatching. In July you can eat a leisurely breakfast in the garden and then head out to explore. At the end of a day it's nice to come back to Coveside and relax in your room or in the common areas. Each area has comfy couches, tv, a large refrigerator to store your snacks, drinks and take out foods, a microwave, a coffee/ tea station and other nice amenities like a spare powder room. We feel very at home here!

I was able to get a room on the first floor to accommodate my mom and I. This is a beautiful property on an island in midcoast Maine. I enjoyed sitting outside watching the lovely cove from a comfortable Adirondack chair. There was also a balcony off my room and a screened in porch with rocking chairs in the common area. The common area also included a refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, and games to play which mom and I thoroughly enjoyed. There is a pass for nearby Reid State Park and a basket with beach towels to use. We had lunch at Five Islands Lobster Company which is our favorite place to get fresh off the boat seafood with casual dining at picnic tables on the dock overlooking the picturesque harbor. Dinner at Taste of Maine in nearby Woolwich was good. Bob, the host was very friendly and prepared a delicious breakfast using local ingredients each morning of our 2 day stay. Our first breakfast started with a choice of beverages (coffee, tea, and juice)and fresh baked amazingly delicious blueberry muffins with jam. Next Bob, the host brought us omelets with carmelized onions and cheese with a side of bacon and toasted homemade bread. Our second breakfast started with beverages and a sliced roasted pear with a light cinnamon flavored sauce topped with walnuts and a scoop of yogurt. Our breakfast was 2 perfectly prepared wild berry Belgian waffles with a locally made sausage that had hint of spice to it. This was a wonderful getaway to a beautiful place and I would definitely return.

A truly charming, quiet B&B that makes you feel more like family than just guests. The Innkeeper/chef/owner Bob has really created a place to relax, enjoy mid-coast Maine and be as social as you want. Truly a wonderful find and worth a visit!

For our first trip to Maine, we didn't know what to expect. This place did not disappoint! Although we did choose an off peak time to go, we enjoyed the extra peaceful romantic surroundings and downtime. Our Innkeeper Bob was so welcoming and friendly, it was actually like leaving a friend behind when it was time to go. And his breakfast was AMAZING! The actual accommodations were even better in person and we got a true taste of cottage living with a nice view of the inlet. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated to make you feel you were visiting a family vacation home. The common area downstairs was also very quaint and homey. The immediate surrounding area was not very active since it was off peak, but we enjoyed our short trips to Freeport and Bath for shopping and restaurants. If you like beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, you are just a walk up the road or quick 5 min drive away to Reid State Park. I also recommend the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath. We are looking forward to planning our next stay at Coveside Bed & Breakfast soon. It is truly a hidden treasure.

My wife and I stayed here recently for a weekend anniversary trip and had a great time. We stayed in one of the cottage suites. It was bright and clean with a view of the cove. Bob, the owner was laid back and easy to talk to. He strikes the perfect balance of giving guests their space and privacy while also making it clear that he is available should you have any needs/concerns. He answered all of our questions about places to go and things to do in the area. Breakfast was also great. We'd certainly recommend Coveside to others.

The B&B itself is very comfortable, clean and located in a quiet place right on the coast. The innkeeper, Bob, is friendly and makes an amazing breakfast. Great jumping off point to explore coastal or interior Maine. Make sure you make some time to simply sit with a drink of your choice in the Adirondack chairs down the hill. Would definitely return to Coveside if we ever go back to Maine.

This B&B sits on a cove. Beautiful setting. We loved the area. Borrowed passes to the nearby beach and ate lobster at the Five Islands. Such a great experience. They serve an Excellent breakfast. This is a Great, relaxing place. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coveside Bed & Breakfast. Bob, the owner, is welcoming and provides great recommendations and maps for areas to explore. He is also an excellent chef! The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. We had a blast kayaking and exploring the neighboring coves and islands. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed watching for birds in the area and added a few new species to our list. The one small downside to the location is that it takes a while to get anywhere outside of Georgetown Island, and if you come outside of tourist season, most restaurants nearby have shortened hours. Such is life in coastal Maine! I'll take the trade-off to stay in a peaceful coastal community as opposed to the larger, more "touristy" towns. Just something to be aware of as you plan. That being said, there is plenty to do on the island! One day we went to the north side of the island and hiked through the forest on a very well-maintained trail and then headed to the south side of the island to walk on mile beach and half-mile beach. Best of both worlds!
