March 9th, 2023 - The hotel is lacking in maintenance and up-keep. I stayed in room 313 in which the mattress has seen better days and is due to be retired from service. The shower became a bathtub because it did not drain, the drainage was obstructed. The television did not work properly so we could not enjoy a show. The toiletries were mini and fit for a child’s doll house. The floors were dirty, which was explainable because our room was not done as one would expect in a hotel environment and giving COVID-19 and other infections. Payment was a problem as well at the hotel; they do not accept MasterCard only Visa and when you do provide the Visa. The hotel charges your room the total amount of your stay in advance. Their charge machine does not work, and in my humble opinion, it is outdated, we provided a VISA, and it still did not work, even though our credit card company told them that the machine was sending them the wrong merchant codes. They emphasis payment in CASH so we need to find a bank ATM to be able to pay in CASH, which was extremely inconvenient. All the above mentioned for the price of US$156.00 per night; the room was nowhere near worth all that amount of money!! To the hotel owner, please invest some profits back in your business, and respect your customers who work just as hard to earn a living. It is not ethical to provide substandard rooms/accommodations to customers who have entrusted their hotel stay to you.
