the service from front desk is good and friendly. location is in the heart of georgetown and many convenience store nearby. However, the rooms is a little old but still maintain well. The aircon in the room is weak and not so cold but got ceiling fan.

My first trip to Penang after more than 10 years and staying at Cititel was a great choice. The hotel lobby is nice, big and smells good. Front desk officers, the porters, the staff at the restaurant, the male and female masseuse (my husband and I had a syok foot and shoulder massage) at the City Spa and even the aunty at the hotel's convenient shop were very friendly, helpful and pleasant! The breakfast spread was also great! The location of the hotel was within walking distance to good makan places and convenient shops!
The room is big enough with a comfortable king bed and pillows. The seaview was awesome. The only downside is the soundproofing of the room. I heard weird noises late at night.

Strategic location @ upper Penang road. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. The room is a bit small. But overall, good stay. ** The Japanese restaurant Kirishima at hotel G floor is a real treasure.

We took 2 Deluxe King rooms. The sizes of the rooms were okay and the view was beautiful. Very helpful lobby staffs. And great breakfast spread.

Though the room is not big, everything needed is in the room. Parking is convenient. There are few good restaurants on the lobby floor.
Nearby to the hotel, easy to find food.
Will come back again.
