Such a beautiful place. I really love the Interior. Friendly staff.

A bit hassle when you try to go in but you need someone to open the door. Try to ring for check in but need to wait for 10min for someone to open the door. After check in, didnt give the access card because you need to stay more than 1 day to get the access card. Then want to going in at night still need to wait for someone to open the door. Waste of time. The place is pretty though but the service meh and you will need to put rm100 deposit in cash.

We had an excellent stay in Ke-Lan -Tan house! The staff truly made it, they were so knowledgeable on the area and had lots of amazing recommendations. The hotel was quaint and had a lovely atmosphere and was unbelievably spotless. The bathrooms were down the corridor from our rooms, but it wasn’t an imposition as it was your own private bathroom

We stayed 4 nights here .Our stay was really enjoyable in a lovely old heritage property.We found that the private bathroom which was not en suite was just across the landing from our room and was not an issue.The main attractions in Georgetown was easily accessible and also a handy free bus service was close by.On arrival we were given lots of information on places to see and restaurants to visit by Marcus at reception.Would definitely recommend.

The building is so beautiful, I have stayed in ground floor room and I really liked it even tho there is no window like other review state. As we know this is a heritage building is not a problem as the surroundings are so great and the common area so pleasant as well. This is a very clean place as well and have a complimentary tea / coffe and biscuits station. The price is low and I did not expected nothing great but It was a superb experience and a must see building inside and the master bedroom is mind blowing .

This place was too rough. The shower didn't work (no hot water), the bed was hard, and wifi connection didn't reach the room - had to use it downstairs which is okay at night, but during the middle of the hot day with no aircon, was uncomfortable. I had planned to do some work on my laptop during my stay. Glad I only booked one night and could move to another hotel (Muntri Mews - much better!!) the following day where I could sleep and do some work in relative comfort. This hotel also asked me for 100RM cash deposit on arrival - which took me completely by surprise as I only had 150RM on me for spending money. Why wouldn't they accept a credit card? The next hotel I stayed at required no deposit at all! Finally, this hotel's website has photos of families. I travelled solo this trip which was fine. I would no way have wanted to stay here with my child - it would be way too uncomfortable between the non-working shower and all the stairs.
