Lucked out when we got a room as there are only a handful and it was a good stay. I enjoyed the location, close to restaurants etc but on a quieter street. The room was very spacious and the whole place was beautifully done up. Also enjoyed the free entry to the museum nearby!

It's a very unique homestay, but the hygiene is really poor. The sofa is moldy and dusty, and the toilet is also very dirty.

This hotel was very satisfying overall, with the following highlights:
• Beautiful surroundings. It's a renovated old house, but it's immaculately clean inside and out.
• Rooms are limited and difficult to book, so we were fortunate to be able to book for two nights. We stayed in a first-floor family room, which gave us practically the entire courtyard to ourselves, a truly unique experience.
• The housekeeper and waiter were extremely welcoming and helpful.
• The whole family, including the children, loved it.
However, there were some minor flaws:
• The bathroom was old-fashioned, lacking a sink, making it difficult to brush teeth or store toiletries. The toiletries were unintelligible and looked old, raising concerns about their expiration date.
• Cleaning service was not provided during extended stays. Toilet refills required prior notification, but the housekeeper only provided refills without cleaning.
• There were no complimentary bottled drinking water, and there was a jug of water in the living room that I didn't dare drink.
Overall, despite these minor flaws, this hotel is highly recommended.

The room was spacious and clean. The host has WeChat, making communication easy. The front desk was also very polite. The location on Love Lane makes it convenient for getting around. The price on Ctrip was lower than Agoda, which was a good deal. The reviews were quite honest and reflected Chinese people's preferences. The stay was quite comfortable. The only thing was that the second-floor bathroom was a little small, perhaps because it was a renovated unit. Otherwise, it was good! The small courtyard is beautiful. Check-in is done by self-service code and the staff can be contacted online. Experience the charm of a small Nanyang building. Overall, the price is reasonable. The bedroom is nice, but the public areas and bathroom are not very clean. For example, there was hair on the sofa, and the bathroom facilities are old, which my family is a little concerned about.
