The B&B is very close to Shantou Street. If you like Citywalk, the location is very suitable. You can come back to rest anytime when you are tired. The owner of the B&B, Han, is very nice. The room is very clean and he often recommends places that only locals go to. Staying here for a week really gave me a good experience of Penang.

It’s perfect for the whole family to live together! ! I have stayed in hotels and Airbnbs in Penang, and this place is really the best value for money. I was originally worried that there would be problems with the old house, but it turned out that the experience was great. It had everything it needed. The beds, tables, and floors were all of great quality, and the cleaning was more meticulous than many hotels (certified for mysophobia). Next door is the famous Shantou Street, where you can’t finish the fried rice with duck kueh sauce, roast pork rice, teahouse, snacks and sugar water... There are also supermarkets and laundry rooms nearby. The downstairs of the room happens to sell Penang specialties, and the landlord even gives them to you. Voucher hahahaha

The room is a homestay, located near the food street, the room is relatively clean, but I am not used to staying in a hotel. There is no breakfast. The price/performance ratio is average for NT$220. I found that it is much cheaper on Agoda. You can stay in a good hotel in Penang by adding NT$150. I still recommend staying in a hotel.
