Great location in Georgetown, cross over to the road to reach the Red Garden Food Paradise.
The bad
- limited in-room amenities (only toothbrush and showerkit), no slippers.
- receptionist collected RM13 from me even though I checked in with a malaysian passport (by right only RM3) attached a photo of the notice for reference
The good
- comfortable bed and pillow
- nice smelling shampoo/shower gel
- bottled water provided
- room is generally very new and clean
- welcome drink
- breakfast provided (omelette was super yummy)

Overall, this hotel is quite good. The environment is clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly. The location is convenient with plenty of food options nearby. I would consider coming back again next time.

The small boutique hotel is renovated from a historic building. Lobby looks fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast with welcome drink. The room was comfortable and clean. Aircon is cold. The carpark is limited, first come first served.
Hotel closes to many attractions.
Our room was facing the front, opposite the food court and they have live music until 12 midnight.

This is my 6th time booking and staying at The Leith Hotel in Penang in this recent two years each time I visited my family in Penang. Small cosy boutique hotel, quiet and reasonably spacious room size. Only the breakfast choice may have to improve. Overall recommended.

This was a chance find as the hotel is super new and not listed everywhere yet. Thank god I spotted it on Trip.com and booked it after realising its newly refurbished. The hotel is situated in an old building but the interior has been overhauled. Love the interior design and colonial vibes. The shower pressure is pleasantly strong and the air-condition is new and powerful. Nice to be able to netflix on a reasonably sized smart tv as well. Location is super central and there are loads of local food and cafes around the area. Hope they manage to upkeep this level of cleanliness and service as I would love to be back again!

I stayed here for a business trip and found the experience overall positive. The room was clean and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a good workspace. Complimentary with breakfast and welcome drink, it met my key needs for a business stay.
