We had arrived early following an excellent drive from Swellendam. We were greeted by Jenay and then by Wendy. What a wonderful greeting. We were made to feel so welcome and were shown to our amazing suite. What a fabulous Forest Suite. A kitchen, a super bathroom with a great shower and a massive bedroom with a super king bed and an amazing balcony with stunning view. Lovely towels and all spotlessly clean. Plenty of electrical sockets. The pool was delightful. So peaceful and excellent quality sun mattress. The entire house is beautifully decorated. Plenty of areas to relax. Breakfast was cooked to order and Wendy offered a lovely choice. We were treated like royalty throughout our delightful stay. Five minutes drive to the railway museum. Five minutes drive to the mall.

Fantastic experience staying here for three nights. Inclusive breakfast was freshly cooked to requirements. Full continental breakfast was available too, along with juice and tea/ coffee. Rooms were clean & spacious. Pool looked inviting, but we were too busy visiting family to utilise. Free high speed WiFi internet included. Good TV, with streaming services available. Wendy the owner was always on hand to assist if needed. Highly recommended to all.

We had a lovely 5 night stay. Comfortable and spacious room with views over the beautiful gardens; friendly good morning woofs from the resident pup Lucy; the most delicious home-cooked breakfast and Wendy’s warm hospitality makes this place very special.

I can honestly say that I would not want to stay anywhere else in George, Edenwood ticks all the boxes. The rooms are lovely, the location is beautiful and tranquil and the people are amazing

My overall experience was very nice. The food was very tasty and the room was outstanding. The view from the room where I stayed was and the fact that there was a kitchen available was a plus and the Bathroom was very spacious and not to talk about my king size bed outstanding. The reception was very good at what she does.

A hidden gem. Home from home. We were in the 'Owners Suite'. Very comfortable with large bedroom, sitting room and table/desk, large bathroom and kitchen area. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Breakfasts were excellent and cooked to order. The Manager, Wendy, was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great pool area and garden. Highly recommended and when next in George this will be where we will stay.

The rooms met our expectations for comfort and cleanliness. Breakfast was a disaster no buffet was provided, no fresh fruit, cereals or marmalade. Poached eggs were not available. Considering the owner owns a bakery they ran out of croissants and muffins and the bread was supermarket sliced.a

Edenwood is a lovely house full of character and charm. We were lucky to be staying in the Forest View Suite with all the amenities you might expect from these rooms. Wendy made us welcome and did her best to give us a good experience.
