From the first contact I was impressed by the competent, professional and friendly service. The Arendsrus campsite is neat, safe with wide-open views of the greater George and the Outeniqua Mountains. An exclusive and dedicated bathroom and wash facility per campsite site is special and convenient. The restaurant, heated swimming pool and integration with farm activities is superb. Ample walking and MTB trails in the adjacent forests provides peace for the soul.

Excellent accommodation, friendly staff, professional staff, tasty meals, and all round a great experience. The hikes were a bit disappointing - we feel that a more detailed description of each hike should be provided so that we know what to expect. On our first day, shortly after starting the hike, the app used to guide us on the hike, stopped working, on two cell phones. It was overcast and this may have affected the app. This in itself was a dissapointment, as we did not manage to do the hike we wanted to do as a result of the app losing the route, and not picking it up again. I suggest you use a different app, like AllTrails. It is 100% reliable.

The view is incredible. The staff are friendly and really go the extra mile. They make you feel so welcome and at home. The chalets are so beautiful and well equipped. Please do yourself a favour and stay at Arendsrus.

Arendsrus is simply beautiful. I stayed in the cabins and had a stellar stay. The cabins are well appointed, with everything you might need. If you feel there's something not quite right, just phone room service and they will sort you out in a very friendly manner! I ate all my meals on the balcony, which were delivered to me, however there is a very nice restaurant on hand for dining. Food was hearty, honestly cooking- definitely worth the money. Beds comfortable and room kept clean everyday! All in all, definitely somewhere where I'd come back to, beautiful, clean, we'll maintained, with great friendly service! We'll done arendsrus!

This resort is amazing the location is absolutely picturesque. The rooms are stunning with a beautiful view! The staff is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for Charné and Marieka. Breakfast was delicious and served in our room. Would love to stay longer next time!!
