Room is spacious, no foul smelling toilet, sewer as mentioned by other stayers. Clean bedsheets, except some dust here n there. Supposed is due to no occupants for long time. Fast and smooth check-in. From lobby to room at tower 4 took less than 2 mins. Free parking. Down thing.. 1. Room service closed very early at 9pm. 2. Requested for extra bottle of water and sewing kit and slippers on day 2 morning till the time I check out, nothing came at all (request made thru qr code). 3. Need to pay for ice cube.

After a day of enjoying the theme park, shopping centre and ******, we stayed in our room the next day to enjoy the splendor of the amenities and the wonderful view over the valley below.

Overall, i'm satisfied during the 1 night stay there. Booking the tower 1 room does give an advantage where the car park is the same level as the room. So convenient for family with kids. Halal food is nearby, got food court with a variety of nice food. Surrounded by a lot of convenient shop like 7e, KK, etc. The only downside is, you can't go to the other level without using the elevator at tower 2. Stairs is no accessable.

1st time being in this hotel for a night to celebrate our anniversary; checking in was fast and great stay. However we are abit disappointed that the hotel didn’t met our request to decorate the room with balloons and flowers for our anniversary celebration as the counter said it was over budget or no budget. I shared with them I stayed before in Shangrila; Mandarin Oriental even Westin or worse scenario Eastin hotel in Petaling Jaya they will do the set up of deco with flowers and bottle of wine with cake for my anniversary. However the hotel was a let down in this context of customer service. Overall, ambience and room was cozy, great weather and great hospitality of awesome breakfast buffet with gym and pool usage. However the poolside was a let down as there isn’t any control or security to monitor the dress code of people using the pool; what I mean by that is that the hotel still allow people to wear track suit and t-shirt with not even swim wear for men to enter the pool. It was very disappointing to see that the management allow People to wear T-shirt and track suit pants to enter the pool, is not the question of the attire, it is about the hygiene of this people in thinking about themselves then of others who wanted to use the pool. Giving others an impression that the pool is very unhygienic to use as seeing this low morale people whom just wear T-shirt and track suit pants to enter the pool. Pros Hotel is great for families. We booked the sixer room as the quad room has been reviewed by other guests that it is far away from lobby. Our sixer room was just above the lobby at level 2. Space was enough for our family of 5 with toddler and we had a connecting room. Our room had a bunk bed. So in total there were 3 queen beds. 2 beds on the bottom and 1 on the bunk bed. Location wise is very convenient as the theme parks, restaurants and supermarket is just right in front of the hotel. There is also a small playground for kids at the lobby reception. Cons The bathroom has a separate cubicle for toilet and shower. But the bathroom has no door! You would have to change your clothes in the shower cubicle. I have never stayed in a hotel where the bathroom has no door, so if you are staying with a big group just be prepared😊 Room has no fan but it is cold outside so not a problem for us during our stay. Breakfast buffet location is not in the hotel. It is in the indoor themepark premise so you need to walk 10-15 minutes for breakfast. Otherwise great stay for families and reasonable price too if you are sharing.

The hotel looked new and the room was clean. The problems were the connecting room was not sound proof and the toilet has no lock. Can hear the next door guests watching TV and talking in normal volume. The plus things are the facilities like swimming pool, kids playground and common areas are well kept. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing and the confectionery like croissant and pan au chocolat are very delicious. However, the queue to enter the restaurant for breakfast was very long between 8.30-9.00am Suggest the restaurant to add more seatings to save guest's time. The ala carte dishes for dinner were ok. The lasagne was not delicious. The char kue tiao and chicken burger were much better. The vietnamese noodle was too gingery, not so nice. For the price, room, facilities and breakfast, it is very worth it. Most likely will come back again.

Location for check in was at Geo38 building which is we didnt received any info for check in process. Direct to the windmill lobby and went to the receptionist they said that the check in for this room is not located at the windmill building. Tried to call no at the email reservation info and they didnt pick up the phone call. At last we did search google the contact number for check in and finally we found the place for check in. Check in at different building and we stay at the different building. My suggestion is to provide the contactable number at the reservation details. The stay was okay. Only had hiccup on check in process.

The room & toilet are clean. If you are going to book rooms at Midhills, remember to bring your slippers and toiletries because they don't provide that stuff. It's quite far from Genting Highlands and markets. I suggest you bring everything you need like food, drinks and snacks before you check in. The lights are grounded the reason when you turn it on, there will be a sparkling sound. There is also no cable on TV. The Aircon is not cooling. The smell of the room is some kind of weird. Please don't take my review as negative. By this, you can have room for improvement in the future.

The resort looks neat and beautiful where is surrounded by vegetation. When the first time we drive to this resort, we were scared of where is quite an outskirt location. But not too bad is not that deep into drive-in is just about 5 min from that small little town. In fact, is a really convenient location which near to those shops from the little town They take the SOP seriously where they did maintain the social distancing, scan our My Sejahtera apps, and provide us the hand sanitizer. We were greeted by the guard who are very friendly and dedicated. The room in GRV was the great one, very huge like a suite room with wide space, beautiful view and the shower heater was working perfectly with high pressure. The receptionist by the name of Fazila (who work in this property for 3 years plus) who handle our check-in and check-out process was efficient with a courtesy maner and helpful. We will never forget of Fazila's hospitality that she demonstrated. Keep up the good work Fazila and her team.

Reception counter done it's job efficiently and explained on how to get to the unit apartment. Dedicated parking space is provided by the host which is 1 parking spot for 1 unit. The unit is spacious and very clean. Basic kitchenette provided and usable. The scenery is amazing just outside of the window. Nowadays there's a plenty construction site in front of the building itself in which during working hours, many noise from construction site is heard especially when the unit facing the construction site. Thus if you're planning on getting up from the bed later in the morning, it's a bit hassle. The bed is comfy and clean. The internet connection is fast (100mbps) which suitable if you're working from home. Plenty of restaurants nearby if you're willing to walking around the apartment. Overall, it's a nice trip and I'm very happy during the stay.

Big apartment, nice rooms, free snacks, spacious toilet, many channels on the TV. The staff also WhatsApps you instructions and offers you almost instant help when you need it. I find this a lot more helpful than a phone or a concierge at the lobby. I can even send pictures and ask for help. My only complain is the lift that goes up, it's a high rise, but only four lifts and they are more often than enough fully loaded. You also need to take 2 lifts, because you have to transfer at L6. Other than the lift, everything is really perfect.

I revisit this property (as no much choice left for 4-5 star hotels in Resorts World Genting, at this point of time), and what does impressed me is the check-in process. I remembered previous check in usually took long and not well organized, front desk staffs not attentive, kind of messy but this time, they impressed me. When I reached the lobby, I was greeted by a front desk staff, escorted you to the sitting areas meanwhile prepare the check in procedures. The staffs are more attentive to guests arrival experience now and you can never felt being left out (like last time). While room is well maintained, clean, and welcome fruits and mask provided too (last time no welcome fruits though!) Overall, service quality is improved and keep it up, Highlands Hotel.

The hotel was former apartment that makes the room so wide with apartment standard. Has a sink etc, the room it self was clean nice, nice bed, nice pillows,nice bathroom but they didnt give toothbrush and toothpaste. They have many restaurants, and lucky i was at tower 2 so easy to reach restaurant and the shuttle stop. The location is wonderfull, on the top of the mountain. But it was sadly when i stay there was big raining all night and morning so all foggy and i cany see the nuce few there, otherwise its wonderfull view if there was no rain. Overall that very nice hotel

This is an apartment based hotel, under the Swiss Garden group. Overall check in was easy, except you have to make deposit into someone's personal account which was kinda odd if you prefer online transfer. The place given was nice, I booked the one with a balcony. And to my surprise there was a washing machine and dryer so that was a bonus. Other facilities was just your basic apartment stuff. Swimming pool area had a nice view but if you go on a public holiday, expect it to be jam packed. My only complaint is that the apartment that we got was without airconds (cheapskate owner) as it can be be hot during day time and we struggled like crazy to close the balcony sliding door. And if waiting for the lift to go up to the swimming pool or the carpark can really test your patience. Also, flimsy towels and limited too and also really China cheap toiletries. And becareful as the swimming pool had an expose electric wiring that they only cover with a rubber floor mat! (refer photo) But other than that, it was an OK stay.

There’s laundry machine and coway water refill outside at the public area too. Location is close to all the restaurants/coffeeshops (walking distance). Do note that parking is not free. All in all, an excellent experience!

Formerly called - Maxims Hotel, and now renamed to Highlands Hotel. I revisit this property (as no much choice left for 4-5 star hotels in Resorts World Genting, at this point of time), and what does impressed me is the check-in process. I remembered previous check in usually took long and not well organized, front desk staffs not attentive, kind of messy but this time, they impressed me. When I reached the lobby, I was greeted by a front desk staff, escorted you to the sitting areas meanwhile prepare the check in procedures. The staffs are more attentive to guests arrival experience now and you can never felt being left out (like last time). While room is well maintained, clean, and welcome fruits and mask provided too (last time no welcome fruits though!) Overall, service quality is improved and keep it up, Highlands Hotel.

Not recommended to stay at in Genting Highlands. 1) I make my reservation via call in and ask for a queen size bed for 2 adults. End up i got a room for 3 adults (1 queen bed + 1 single bed). I called down to the reception to have a change of room, apparently she said it was a complimentary upgrade and keep saying that is fine to give us that room but I did not want it. I insisted a few times only finally she agreed to change my room to a queen bed. 2) Toilet - Hot water keep going off after few minutes of showering and we had to shower from a hot nice bath to a icy cold bath. This should be fix especially with the temperature in genting highlands! Not to mention the toilet bowl, the flush is broken and it cannot be flused. Bidet has no proper handle to be hook. 3) The room is without towel or any floor towel given since the flooring outside the toilet was not carpeted, it was all wet every single time we come out from the toilet. Though upon check in, the receptionist did mention that it will send to us as the laundry people will be back but I find it really inconvenience since we wanted to shower the moment we checked in the room. Oh ya, the towel that was send later of the day but were smelly and with stained! 4) Bed sheet are all with stained - dirty stained and dry blood-like stained. 5) Room is filled with damp smell and wall and furniture is with all kind of stained. Looks like lipstick stain or I don't know what is it. TV channel were all unable to view except for like 2-3 channels out of I don't know how many channel they have. Really not recommended to booked this hotel. Though the rate is affordable but I think i could get a better boutique or budget hotel with this rate.

It was not that pleasant during the stay as myself and my family experienced a bad odor from the bathroom for the whole stay. It really made my parents upset a bit. The first when opening the room door was the bad smell from the bathroom. We thought to call the room service and request a check into the issue but then we just remained silent as we were tired and lacked sleep the overall stay was great as we could get the Genting view in the night and morning.

The security is really bad. As soon as we entered, a security guard asked us for the room number, and he showed him the room number that the owner gave us. He told us to go straight to the third parking space. 082 My husband took the car. After parking, we went up to 12 o'clock in the evening and there were loud shouts and loud slams on the door. We dared to open the door in the middle of the night! Went to pick up the car the next morning when I was packing up to go back who knew the wheels were locked by security! I contacted Baoan and they said they needed 50 ringgits to unlock the door. I had no choice but to give it to them and asked why the door was not opened when we called last night! 🙄 It's 12:00 in the middle of the night and it's on the mountain again 🙄😢
