Geneva Paquis-Nations Hotels

This is a youth hostel. The toilet is shared with other people outside the room, regardless of gender. The water pressure in each shower room is not enough. You can test the water pressure before choosing which bathroom to use. There is a special smell in the room (similar to the smell of dampness?), but it is not offensive. Instead, it has a nostalgic feeling (reminiscent of living in a university dormitory before). There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, but the weather in Geneva is relatively cool, so it is not a big problem. Things to note are: the room is relatively small. If two people each have a large suitcase, there may not be enough space to open them all (but if you take it down and tidy up the space a little, there will be enough space to open the suitcase) There is a shared kitchen in the basement, with all the basic kitchen utensils, but remember to clean them before use, and prepare the seasonings (oil, salt) yourself/ask other guests to borrow. You will see people from different nationalities cooking together in the kitchen. Although they usually prepare their own food/eat, it is rare to go out, so you can also try to talk to them. It is a good place to meet new friends outside. The location is relatively close to the station (about 10 minutes walk to the train station), and only if you live in the hotel in Geneva, the transportation in the city is free, and you can also take the bus to the station to save energy, but you also need to pay attention to the time because the bus is not frequent. There is a hidden elevator next to the lobby of the hotel. The reception staff did not tell us, so we thought we could only take the stairs. Fortunately, the people traveling with us were stronger and could help carry the suitcase upstairs. We found out on the day we left that there was an elevator (the older type, the elevator door looks like an ordinary door, and you have to open the door yourself)

The hotel and room were very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Only little minus, it's right in the red light district but, it's very central in Geneva and very convenient for the train station with a five minutes walk. All in all, a great experience and a recommendation. I would stay there again if visiting Geneva. The check in staff was very helpful and efficient.

The location is excellent and super convenient, literally just steps away from the lake! The facilities are complete, everything is spotlessly clean, and it's wonderfully quiet. The front desk service was also top-notch. This is definitely my go-to hotel for both business and leisure trips, especially since you can cook your own meals here.

We selected the Warwick hotel for its convenient location directly opposite to Geneva Central train station. This was a great spot from which to explore the city centre and also to make our way back to Geneva Airport by train (＜ 10 minutes) for our return flight home the following morning. The hotel accommodation was clean and welcoming, with comfortable beds, and the staff was service-oriented & responsive. A very good choice for a short-stay in Geneva!

The room was spotlessly clean. The surrounding area was quite peaceful, and it's conveniently located very close to the lake. From there, you can take a lovely walk along the lakeside to the nearby city park and botanical garden. It's also very convenient to stroll along the lake to attractions like the Big Fountain.

Very good hotel worth recommending, the receptionist who received us is a little sister with Asian appearance, very polite to speak Mandarin , and upgraded our room. It is very convenient to open the door by e-mail key according to the elevator. It is a few minutes away from the train station. The nearby supermarkets are not small, the Spanish restaurant in the hotel should not be missed, the taste is very good, but remember to book early!

The hotel boasts a great location, just a straight walk from the train station, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants in the vicinity. While the hotel is a bit older, it doesn't feel dated, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Despite being street-facing, the windows offer excellent soundproofing. My only complaint is that when the window is open, it's positioned too close to the bed, making it easy to accidentally hit and get scratched when walking by. Both my friend and I bumped into it, resulting in scratches and even drawing blood.

We had a lovely stay at Kipling Hotel. Our room was wonderful - a spacious corner room with a beautiful balcony. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the station. We were touched when Guest Services left us a sweet honeymoon note and chocolates - such a thoughtful gesture! The only problem was our key card kept deactivating. Over the course of our week-long stay, we had to get it fixed at least five times. Despite this issue, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Hotel location is just a few minutes walk from Geneva train station. There are quite a number of restaurants around and supermarket at the train station so it is easy to look for foods. Room design looks modern and shower water is strong enough for a good bath. Sink is located outside toilet this make it easy to access to water when the toilet is occupied. Cons: Although the room design looks modern but the tv in the room is the smallest (think is only 20”) and oldest. Room size is a bit small, just enough for 2 adults with 2 medium size lugguge. Sound proofing is poor and we can clearly hear the noise coming from the street since our room is on the 2nd floor. Based on the price range I will still use this hotel if I were to visit Geneva again.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is easy to find diagonally across the railway station (but you have to imagine the hotel a bit smaller, not as big as the picture is so magnificent) within walking distance to the railway station, there are many restaurants and small supermarkets are also very convenient to purchase because The transportation in Switzerland is very convenient. Basically, all trips can be made by public transportation. When you check in in Geneva, everyone will give you a transportation ticket. During the stay, you can get on the bus directly. No one can check the ticket. The front desk inside the hotel is more enthusiastic. The European hotel payment process is fairly simple. There is no such thing as a deposit. I set it on the top floor. The room is neat and clean as shown in the picture. The toilet is very big in Europe, but the beams of the house are more dangerous and easier to knock. Overall, the hotel is more suitable as a choice
